No - I think that's allowed. After all torturing Ensign Ro is inexcusable. That's how I felt. And setting aside the hideousness of the deed itself, it really was phenomenally short-sighted of him to screw up her hands--although in a way it really hammered home the needlessness of hurting her at all.

I did see the previews--that's why I made the cranky face. And yeah, they both were definitely bringing the good stuff last night. Oh yeah--Sloane has left the building. And I think Nadia knows it. Although... is it wrong of me to have been a little happy when he kneecapped the guy who tortured Sinclair? the blood spattered face was kind of a tip off. yeow....

Great review Sara. I really, really enjoyed the opening paragraph. And hee, hee on Marvin the martian.
I agree with you that the title is multi-layered.
Just sitting back again and marveling at the goodness that is Ron Rifkin. So, so creepy and well done.
And bravo again on Victor Garner's performance. He is such a wonderful actor that now I want to see some of his theatrical performances.
Let me know if we're heading off to J.J.'s to um . . . reason with him about Spydaddy.
This has been a terrific season building from some mediocre opening episodes to this intense roller coaster ride that only made a slight detour thought the teeny weeny helipcopter of doom -hee, hee - so not scary area. Other than that, I applaud the writers. They brought back everything we wanted and did it magnificently.

Okay, you know what? They could have left it at "motivate her." Maybe given us a glimpse of the sander. But all of the rest of it--that was utterly unnecessary. Was THAT what it was? Eww.... And stupid. Who messes with a scientist's HANDS, especially one you kidnapped specifically to, you know, build something for you? I dunno...I didn't have the same repulsed reaction to hearing the torture that I had in Season 1 to seeing it. I was duly horrified, but in a way where I felt like "yeah, that was the point". Clearly others' mileage varies, though.
