Yes, the name of the second episode of the season is "...1..." No, I don't know why. Yes, Sydney can--and will--still kick ass. Count on it.

Huh. I finally get my connection working and there's apparently no one here to talk about the episode with. Bummer.

Woo hoo! I just saw a familiar Whedonverse face in the ad for next week's Alias. ;D

Sara - I'll post. No one posted last week either, such a bummer. I had to go to TWOP to get any analysis.
So did I miss something? Who is the frozen guy?
Balthazar Getty. I hated him on Charmed. Hope I like him more here.
Weiss is leaving. Wah!!!! I love Weiss. I'm so going to miss him.
What was Marshall wearing on his feet when Sydney woke him up. Hee, hee.
Spydaddy and Syd - they always bring on the sniffles. He was so great.
I'll keep checking the thread today if you want to dish about this or last week's episode.

More thoughts - I don't think the frozen guy is Vaughn. I guess the obvious thought is that it is Rambaldi or a Rambaldi descendant. It will be interesting to see where this leads.
Sloane doing the "You're beautiful" line on Sydney. Flashbacks and ewwww!!!!! So when are they popping him out of there?
I liked the new credits but I miss you Vaughn. Bye, bye!!!!
I don't like the new blonde chick. I'm having flashbacks to season 3.
"Sorry baby, Daddy went snooping where he shouldn't have". Seriously creepy.

It's so lonely in this thread. No one to talk to.

Sorry--I've been doing actual work stuff this morning. No rest for the wicked and all that. I don't think Vaughn is dead, but I don't think he's the frozen guy either--his hands looked too old to me, if that makes any sense. I like that Sydney's not sitting home knitting baby booties, and that she's treating her pregnancy like it's just another aspect of who she is, to the point where mentioning it becomes part of her interrogation of Curtis. Marshall's slippers killed me, and it was good to see Carrie again. And I'm gonna wait until I get to see our new agent in action with the team before forming a real opinion, although right now it looks like she may have one major thing in common with Sydney--not knowing that she's really working for a baddie. Oh, and I'm definitely gonna miss Weiss.

I just thought that things were a little off last week with him surviving 10 million bullets to his body and waking up to chat a bit before kicking off myself. I've read spec that frozen guy might be Bill Vaughn - Vaughn's Daddy.

No real confirmation on whether Vaughn will be back (and therefore only slightly spoilerish) but it does talk about the firing/letting go situation and the stalemate currently going on...
