And you know what--I still think there's more to Peyton than meets the eye. I don't know what it is, but I feel like we're gonna find out something big about her somewhere down the line. Is there time for that? I mean...there really IS no "down the line." Dammit. As expected, little was done regarding Sydney's betrayal of Dixon and Marshall's trust by leaving them out of the Vaughn loop. Though I give Carl Lumbly major kudos for doing as much he did under the circumstances. His facial expression is marvelous. And I promise that's the last time I harp on this point, since I'm the lone voice in the wilderness (cue the melodramatic pity-party music). BTW, where the hell was Weiss for Nadia's funeral? Honestly, why did they let them get together in the first place if it was to be such a throwaway relationship? Are we supposed to have forgotten? Sigh. I'm willing to bet most of these qualms are the result of time-compression issues. Damn those ABC honchos to hell. I should probably start this post over. I'm being cranky, especially since I actually liked this episode quite a bit. There's just so much...MORE they should be doing. Obviously nobody planned for a 17-episode season. Who would do such a thing? Oh, I'm right there with you in the anger. And you're right--I keep forgetting there isn't much "somewhere" left in this particular line. It just... I know I've said this before, but for a couple of years there Alias was literally the only show in ABC's roster with any sort of cachet or pop culture buzz about it. At all. So to see it getting treated so shabbily now that ABC is flush with hit dramas just really, really pisses me off.

No, really--that's the title. Which makes me suspect that Mia Maestro's guest stint isn't quite finished... Really? Gah! I wasn't really of fan of nagging, dead Nadia. To me - kind of cheapened her exit.

God, I'm loving this Sloane/Nadia stuff... Hee - I see we had totally opposite reactions on this.

And I gotta say, JG's doing a great job of portraying Anna pretending to be Sydney. Maybe Amy gave her pointers on the dual role thing. Yes - I agree with this. I was actually sorry to see evilSydanna go. Though I have to say I was guessing as soon as they kissed that Vaughn would figure it out. After all - he's already seen lots of clones. Hee!!! Kissing always gives you away plus the opportunity to make snarky remarks about your kissing abilities.

Who would do such a thing? That's probably the problem with all your complaints Rob - lack of time. There just isn't enough time to give the regulars moments much less anything coherent. I agree Weiss would have been at the funeral - probably cost too much for a tiny moment of screen time.

Well I liked it - though I thought it wasn't quite as kickass as last week. Dead Nadia bugged me and I'm never a fan of - okay lets just jump in and do some off the cuff surgery and extract things from your body.
Still I do like the idea of Syd going undercover as EvilSyd. And I'm happy to see Sark on the roster for next week.
(Sara - I taped the right channel this week - hee!!! My kids were all - now don't tape One Tree Hill again Mom)
I wanted more Jack this ep and I am not interested in BG's story - whatever it is. Or Rachel. I mean I was - before when the show still had an ongoing mythology to create but now, just the regulars please.

I wonder if it was a matter of cost or of availability--I'm pretty sure GG's been cast in a new t.v. series, so it's possible he might not have been able to get away on the day they were filming the funeral scene. I only say this because I know Grunberg and Abrams have been friends since grade school, and have to think that if ABC was worried about the budget Grunberg would've done it for scale--maybe even for free.

God, I'm loving this Sloane/Nadia stuff... Hee - I see we had totally opposite reactions on this. ;D Mostly I enjoyed seeing/hearing Nadia be all snarky and constantly challenging him. She didn't let him get away with any of his usual self-serving excuses, and pointed out that all of his sacrifices have come at the expense of other people's lives. I approved.
