Hmmm - interesting. I don't know - I still think it's Rambaldi. That line about Sydney being more charming, I don't know, I still think it's him.
The family scene was cute and I loved the wig line.
Okay ep, loved the Sark but must be the ticking clock or something because I just kept expecting more. Still felt like a set up episode for the wham bamm finale.
That's okay. The promos were making me all sniffly though with the wig comments. I'm trying to figure out how to tape everything on Monday. Alias finale, 24 finale, Medium finale and I have a show that night so I won't be around to watch anything live.
Dean: Who are you? Castiel: I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition. Dean: Yeah, thanks for that.
You know I like BG - I really do. But this storyline was just a waste of time. I would have liked to see more Jack, less Grace.
I agree. However, I also think they felt that since they'd set up this storyline back when they thought they had more episodes to conclude it that to be fair to the audience they had to bring it to some sort of completion. Still another reason to hate the ABC suits.
The Doctor: River Song, I could bloody kiss you! River: Oh well. Maybe when you're older.
The Doctor: Can I trust you, River Song? River: If you like. But where's the fun in that?
Waving hello, since I haven't delurked in an Alias thread yet.
At first, I thought The Rose was Rambaldi (when I saw him marching past Sydney and looking at her I thought that), but after hearing The Rose talk, I don't believe he is. He talked about Rambaldi in the third person and said that "he" left that pendant for her.
And Sloane had said that Rambaldi was executed.
Rambaldi figured out how to stop people from dying a natural death, like the clock maker from...some season past. But not an execution type of death.
I think The Rose was Rambaldi's cellmate. He knew Sydney from what R told him.
LOL--although I'm trying to figure out how he could stay in a prison for, what, 500 years? Without the Italian authorities figuring that out, lol.
I agree--I like Grace, but I didn't feel like that subplot was needed at all...unless it somewhat ties in with something Prophet 5-like in the finale. If not, I think it was a waste of time and, yes, more Jack!
Another Mama Cass song from JJ. Cher also sang it.
Baby, I'm Yours
Baby, I'm yours And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky, Yours until the rivers all run dry In other words, until I die
Baby, I'm yours (baby, I'm yours) And I'll be yours (yours) until the sun no longer shines, Yours (yours) until the poets run out of rhyme In other words, until the end of time
I'm gonna stay right here by your side, Do my best to keep you satisfied Nothin' in the world can drive me away 'Cause every day, you'll hear me say
Baby, I'm yours (baby, I'm yours) And I'll be yours (yours) until two and two is three, Yours (yours) until the mountain crumbles to the sea In other words, until eternity
Baby, I'm yours (baby, I'm yours) 'Til the stars fall from the sky Baby, I'm yours (baby, I'm yours) 'Til the rivers all run dry Baby, I'm yours
EEEhyeah, but I get the idea that the Man with the Rose Tattoo was expecting it, say, next week, or at the latest, next month: not as a far-future event like Mama Cass was talkin' about....
Oh, no doubt. It was just my brain that thought of the song when he said that line.
All I can see in the song is 'baby, I'm yours.' Which makes me think it might have been a clue that Sydney's baby is the key.
Jenny/The First: Hmm. You think you can fight me? I'm not a demon, little girl. I am something that you can't even conceive. The First Evil. Beyond sin, beyond death. I am the thing the darkness fears. You'll never see me, but I am everywhere. Every being, every thought, every drop of hate.
BUFFY: (loses her patience) Alright, I get it. You're evil. Do we have to chat about it all day?
