OK - Pixi and I discussed the "Best Comedy" idea. I am going to go ahead and split "Best TV Series" into Best Comedy and Best Drama. If we don't get enough suggestions, we might combine these again into Best TV Series.

OK, here's a few more nominations: Best Villian noms: Professor Fine - and it says something that I'd be nominating him even if James wasn't playing the role (well, perhaps not because a) JM is doing a killer job with the role and b) I'd probably not be watching the show to have seen the role if James weren't on). Because we had all the classics, done to perfection. The false identity that seems to be on the side of the hero ("I'm just here to show you Lex is evil", which has the lovely distinction of being sort of true). The double double crosses (I'm another alien like you, no I'm somehow linked to Zod, no I'm a computer program, no I'm lots of different Fines, I'm against Lex, no I'm helping Lex, no I'm using Lex, etc.) The dramatic cliffhanger as multiple Fines help to bring the world to a apocalyptic boil so that Zod can emerge, even taking the time to send a spare Fine to kidnap Lois and momma Kent. Liam Fitzpatrick - how scary a villian do you have to be to make my nomination list when you weren't even the one who did this season's murder? Pretty damn scary! Scarier even than Woody (who was creepy and icky and pathetic); scarier than Beaver Cassidy (who was creepy and icky and pathetic and worthy of my pity and anger); frankly, up there in scariness with Aaron (who had a lovely few moments to scare the pants off of us this season too, notably in the elevator scene with Veronica). But Liam? Well, Liam had my heart pounding with Eeeeeeeep when he grabbed Veronica and tossed her so effortlessly onto the pool table. Liam had me shouting at my TV when he had the gun aimed at Keith in the darkened house. Liam had me convinced that he was gonna kill someone I loved. And I haven't felt that scared since . . . well, since Aaron Echolls last year.

Most heartbreaking moment nom:
The scene between Duncan and Logan in the nurse's office in Cheaty, Cheaty, Bang, Bang. What makes this heartbreaking to me is the way it gave us a reminder about how all the tragic events we've seen this season and last season are still playing out. Yes, the fight was, on the surface, about Veronica and jealousy. But really, deep down, the fight was about two friends and the gulf that separates them - the way events have pushed them apart. Logan's angry "where were you all summer" to Duncan. Duncan's icy "your dad killed my sister" to Logan. Logan's unspoken, but there for us to read in just his reactions "I lost my girlfriend and my dad and, apparently, my best friend too".
Just really very raw and painful, especially for such a short scene.
Best comedy series noms:
I'll add Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, and Arrested Development to the ones already in play.

Best Kiss?
For me, the nomination is easy: after 7 long years of waiting, Josh and Donna finally kissed on "The West Wing."

I'm skipping the Best show of Skin female for the moment as I kind of really didn't notice anything that stands out in my mind now except - okay I'll nominate:
Charisma Carpenter - first appearance, bikini walk as Kendall Casablancas.
Most shocking moment:
1. Wayne Palmer's death in the premier of 24 2. Supernatural finale - final scene when truck smashes into the Winchesters and leaves them all bloody and unconscious (one Karen nominated). 3. Lorelai sleeping with Christopher within moments of breaking up with Luke (as in blech but still a shock as I can't believe they went there). 4. They killed Spydaddy! Jack Bristow's death on Alias. 5. They killed Andrea! Andrea's (Melinda Gordon's best friend)death on Ghost Whisperer when she and the audience realize that she is a ghost.
