Dearest Spring,
Last time, I tried to give you some inspiration to continue with your reviews. This time, and since I get SO many requests for it every year, I’ve finally (well, my elves have) come up with a way to get time in a bottle. Without further ado, here are a few samples for you to try.
<snip>
Mrs. Clause recommends most of these but the little giggly elf I recently brought onto my staff came up with the last one. I’m not so sure about him yet; he keeps sneaking outside to smoke but when he comes back, he smells less like cigarettes and more like some unusual type of incense.
Best wishes of the season!
Your Santa
Yay! Very helpful, Santa - thank you. I love the "wrapping," too. And that last one was especially fun! LOL! Kisses, Santa - and here's a bottle for you:

Ah, mon petite cher Onjel!
What does Santa have in his sack for you this week? Tempting tasty treats and sweets for the sweet, that’s what. How about a full 3-course meal?
And in case that’s not enough tasty goodness, try these links on for size.
Searchable storehouse of free stock photos here More photos of food Pictures and recipes of nummy treats
Now, you can help Santa start narrowing down the choices for another one of your wishes. Santa has a lot of possible houses in his bag of goodies, but where would you like him to set one down for your parents?
Tuscon, Arizona, for example?
Or perhaps in Florida?
Or someplace else entirely? Santa just needs to know where to begin.

Am I the only one who drooled more over the houses than the food? .... or even (is that Brad Pitt?)
At least that Tucson one.
Elegant interiors and I probably wouldn't mix due to lifestyle. But open, lots of storage, clean, new, bright...that I wouldn't say no to.

Holiday Greetings again, Dev! I am glad you enjoyed your Christmas card from those very pretty ladies! I had to spend several hours explaining to Mrs Claus that the card was for YOU, not ME! I probably shouldn’t have pinned it up on the wall over my desk.
Anyhow, I see from your wish list that you are pining away for a new offering from Joss Whedon. Right there with you, scooter! I am a big fan myself, except I have to say, it took me several months to forgive him for writing this, in Season 5:TARA: There's a Santa Claus?
ANYA: Mm-hmm. Been around since, like, the 1500s. He wasn't always called Santa, but you know, Christmas night, flying reindeer, coming down the chimney - all true.
DAWN: All true?
ANYA: Well, he doesn't traditionally bring presents so much as, you know, disembowel children, but otherwise -
TARA: The reindeer part was nice.I was shocked! Stunned! Reeling! Deeply hurt! I was never going to speak to Joss again, or watch his shows ever, ever again. Disemboweled?? I was going to show him disemboweled. But, then - well, I just had to find out more about Ben & Glory’s connection, plus whether Buffy could save Dawn, plus what was going to happen with my favorite ‘ships: Xander & Anya, Willow & Tara, and Buffy & Spike! So I couldn’t stay away.
So when I saw your request, I looked into it right away, and I found out that one of the Jossverse’s finest was also pining away:Doesn’t she look sad? I talked to her, and with her help and the help of my most graphically inclined elf, I have designed the following poster:I plan to sneak copies of this into every single one of Joss’s presents this year, plus his stockings (and his underwear, pants pockets, shirt pockets, anywhere I can)!
Let’s hope he gets the hint.
Big hugs from:SANTA

Dear Spring,
Here's a little song and dance number the reindeer and I have been working on in all the spare time we came up with after we figured out how to bottle it. So sit down with a hot mug of your favorite beverage, turn your speakers on and enjoy (we hope)!

Bravo and congratulations Santa on making me smile lots once again. I agree that Joss was a bit naughty for allowing those words to be spoke but ahh well. Forgive and forget eh?
The movie poster looks cool. Although I think James has a better chance with the ladies, especially Anya. Infact... Willow also has a better chance with the ladies. ;D
Thanks again Santa.

Santa!!! You are the bestest of the bestest! More bookmarks and so many goodies to dream about eating! Every one looks delicious. ;D The houses are divine! I'd suggest looking around Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but they've got that covered. So, dream houses in exotic locales are jus the ticket. ;D Keep 'em coming and I can show mom and dad the pictures so they can get some cool ideas. Thank you, thank you, thank you! #bighug#

Erin, my dear,
Only a week until the big flight, so I'm sure you can imagine how crazy things are around here. The elves are working overtime (you have no idea what that's going to cost me) and the reindeer are beginning to carbo load (Comet makes a mean pancake). However, I haven't forgotten about your request, so while Comet was flipping the flapjacks he directed me toward some vegetarian recipes to share:Orecchietti with Peas and Onions (serves 4)4 medium onions (about 4 cups sliced) 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 cups fresh or frozen tiny green peas (about 1 pound) salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 pound orecchiette or other small shell pasta freshly grated Pecorino cheese (about 1 cup) Bring a large covered pot of water to a rapid boil. While the water heats, cut the onions in half lengthwise and then cut crosswise into thin slices. Cut the slices in half lengthwise. Heat the olive oil in a skillet or saucepan and add the onions. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions begin to brown. Add the peas and salt and pepper to taste, and cook a few minutes longer. Add 2 tablespoons of the hot water to the skillet, stir, reduce the heat, and cover. When the pot of water boils, add the pasta, stir, and cover until the water boils again. Uncover the pot. As soon as the pasta is al dente, drain it and toss it with some of the grated Pecorino. Top with the peas and onions, and serve immediately. Serve extra grated cheese at the table. Caribbean Black Beans (serves 4)1 1/2 cups chopped onions 3 garlic cloves 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger root 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (1/2 teaspoon dried) 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 4 1/2 cups drained cooked black beans (three 16-oz cans) 3/4 cup orange juice salt and ground black pepper to taste Sauté the onions and garlic in the oil for about 5 minutes, until the onions begin to soften. Add the ginger, thyme, and allspice and sauté, stirring often to prevent sticking, until the onions are very soft (about 5 more minutes). Stir in the beans and orange juice and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly (use a heat diffuser or a double boiler if necessary to prevent scorching). Mash a few of the beans with the back of a spoon for a thicker consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve. Coffee Ricotta Mousse (serves 4)1 pound ricotta cheese 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 tablespoon brandy (optional) In the bowl of a food processor or using an electric mixer, whip all of the ingredients together until smooth and evenly colored. Serve immediately in individual dessert cups, or make a day or two ahead and keep covered and refrigerated. I hope these are the kind of dishes that will appeal to your palate. I apologize that none are for a single or two servings, but I think you're a smart enough girl to know how to reduce the recipes to suit your needs. Besides, leftovers are always a good thing to have handy after those long days of learning.
Enjoy, and I'll see you next time.
Santa
PS: How could I forget? A little something extra for you for dessert...

Um, Santa got into the nog this week and is a bit late with your gift. Can you forgive him? Do I get extra points for the whole Veronica Mars renewal thing? I mean, that's why I had the Nogapalooza... Hmm...You requested chocolate covered Spike and Xander... Here's the chocolate (including a complimentary Bateman): Here's the Spike: (Santa apologizes for the clothes; what can you do?) And the Xander: (Much better; even though Santa knows you've seen it more than once...) Is that better? Santa promises more gifts this week to make up for his follies.
