As they were walking around down there, I was thinking "deep in the mines of Moria" and expecting Orcs at any moment. ;D Yeah, I was thinking that too. There must be half a dozen fantasy stories involving a magical buried kingom.

Yeah, let's open the manhole cover to hell. That's a good idea. Aaaand, there go the Ood. Right on schedule. Army of telepathic slaves and you didn't think anything could go wrong with that scenario, did you? ;D There go the Ood and here's comes the beast. I wonder if they'll shoot through the black hole and come out in another dimension (like they said before). Or will the planet be "spit out" again, 'cuz it's poison.

Well, my money's on Cthulu. Is it just me, or is it a tremendously stupid idea to go to a planet where the only thing keeping you from falling into a black hole is an impossible gravity field being generated by a HUGE power source...and then remove the power source? And how cool must the universe be if there are STILL things in it that the Doctor and his TARDIS have no knowledge of? I mean...he's from a race that basically ruled the universe; the TARDIS is unfettered by space and time...and yet no one knew about this planet. Which, if the writing's to be believed, has been there a very long time.

Krop Tor. The Bitter Pill. So the Squid Men are the Ood. Slaves. Obligatorily submissive species. Interesting moment when Rose equated the Ood with Mickey. Or at least, that's who I assume she was thinking of.

Boy. SUCH the submarine movie.
Also...space stations make great places for ghost stories, don't they? The creepifying voices in the halls...all sorts of potential lurky spaces...nowhere to run....

"Beautiful," she says. Funny. I was thinking "morbid and creepifying". And also, "Don't wake up the Old Ones."
"Never met a trapdoor I liked." Hee.
Yeah, me neither. When you encounter a gigantic seal/manhole cover thingy, it's best to let it lie.
And NOW you run? Why not 30 seconds ago?
Also: What did I SAY about the power source/falling into the black hole? Stupid humans.

Also, they won't die, you know.
They're gonna fall into the black hole, time will slow down around them, and eventually basically no time will pass. They'll go on dying forever.
Probably the one who got exposed to vacuum was already dead before she fell in, though.

On the up side, the amount of time they have for the Doctor to devise a brilliant escape plan is gonna stretch out for a while. Actually, I'm gonna be so very impressed if they use that as a plot device. Even though the people falling in wouldn't really detect the change in the speed at which time passes. And which part? Vacuum nightmares, or dying forever nightmares?

Well, my money's on Cthulu. #rofl1# The smart money always is. Yeah. Even without the Beast and the Ood and their wacky hijinks, the plan was truly mad. Mad, I tell you! **nods**

I mean, if someone sealed it up good and tight, maybe you should be wondering why that was considered a good idea? **nods again**
