(Reposted from Main Page) OMG!! You two (and thanks, Vlad for putting it up) have outdone yourselves!! "Rob Cocker" Too. Much. Funny!! Loved the Ethan/Ethan bit of presenting chaos. I’m not a chap, I’m not old, and my name’s not really Ethan. Don't want to say much more as to spoil who the winners are for anyone. Perfect presenter selection and dialogue. All the precious little details! Loved them! I can't wait to pimp this on my LJ later tonight. The world needs to see this fabulous piece work! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your hard work! It is much appreciated!! {{{{{Pixi and Spring}}}} You guys rock!! Take a well deserved bow!!

Feel free to post your extended thoughts, congratulations and snarky comments about this year's gala ceremony here. Vlad Spring, Pixi, that was superb. Well done to everyone else involved, too. I loved it all, especially the presenters (some nice characterisations, there). Rob was also a treat! And the Daleks got four votes. Result! That's three more than I was expecting.

Very well-done, ladies! You captured a great many of the character voices perfectly! I was particularly fond of the Riley and Sayid show, and Angel and Jack teamed up together. And woohoo! Yay, for my Magnificent Bastard, Greg House!

Copying from the main thread:Absolutely, positively brilliant. Just brilliant!! I loved every single bit of it. ;D I don't know which I loved better--the presentations or the red carpet commentaries. ;D And Pixi--your songs! Spring and Pixi--both of you amaze and delight me. The two of you really outdid yourselves this time. Thank you so so very much for all of your hard work, and for making us all proud to be a member of this board. Here's a little something to help you celebrate:

Yay, for my Magnificent Bastard, Greg House! My personal favorite was the Ethan and Ethan bit... I have to say I havent seen a variation of "Who's on First" done that well in a really long time. Absolutely perfect! Vlad

Yay, for my Magnificent Bastard, Greg House! Thanks to everyone for the nice words, one and all! I especially appreciate the comments on the character voices in the dialogue working OK. The dialogue is sort of unnatural by default, because the mention of the nominees has to be force fit, so that's probably the most challenging thing!

Oh, I thought all of the character voices were spot on. Truly. I think my favorite was the Harmony and Claire dialogue. And the Buffy and Kate dialogue. Oh! And the Spike and Walt dialogue was hilarious, too!! ;D They were all just about perfect. As was everything else. Except for some of the winners--I don't think I voted for many of the actual winners. ;D They were all deserving of it, though.

Spring, Pixi & Vlad: Wow! I am so impressed by all the work you put into this! Amazing, amazing job!!! Here are some of my favorite parts: Acceptance speech for "Rat Saw God" winning Best Single Episode: "Dick – we’ve won the Cutie for this episode! Hurry – let’s take her to Australia, via Mexico, before anyone else sees her!" Faith and Shannon presenting Best Show of Skin - Male: "FAITH: Hey, B! How’s it hangin’? SHANNON: B? That’s what you called Buffy. But I’m not Buffy, and my name doesn’t start with a B. It’s Shannon. FAITH: So – you thought the B stood for Buffy? No way. It stands for . . . uh . . . Blondie. So – Blondie – what do ya think of our Best Show of Skin Male Nominees? SHANNON: The first one is pretty hot. Logan in his towel, in Cheatty Cheatty Bang Bang on Veronica Mars. Yum. I wouldn’t mind having him for a step-brother. I mean – uh - for a boyfriend. FAITH: Yeah? I can’t figure out which one I want the most, with our next nominee: Sawyer, Sayid, and Jack, shirtless on the boat, aiming their guns at Desmond, on Lost. I guess I’ll have to take them all for a sail. See which one is best at riding the waves. SHANNON: Sayid is mine, you B - Brunette!" Kendall Casablancas accepting her award for Best Show of Skin - Female:"Drink up, Cutie – this is a celebration. I just won a prize for Best Show of Skin, and let me say: “You’re welcome!” I mean, I’d say thanks, except every guy out there should be thanking me." And I love all the little "extras" too--Vlad announcing, Rob singing, the half-time show, and of course, those outstanding red carpet interviews! ETA: Oh yeah! And I loved all the clever pics! The Cutie bear holding a margarita? Tres magnifique.

Ladies, you have outdone yourselves! Loved every minute of the presentations!
Agree with Vlad to the Who's on First. Very clever.
Loved Buffy & Ana: Can the dead kiss? Can they ever! (And Buffy should know.)
Loved Rob's singing. Who know we had such talent in our midst.
One question before I go back to mingling with my fellow S'cubies and cornering James at the Red Carpet festivities (ha! they don't call me the S'inister S'cubie for nothing!), who's voice is that in the introductions?

(or the S'cubie version - aka Vlad)

OMG!!! You've outdone yourself, Spring and Pixi (and Vlad, the enabler)! And that's saying something, considering how fab last year's awards were! Along with others, I loved the character voices - from our hostess (perfect choice, truly!) to the individual presenters. Loved the pairings: from Giles and Mr Eko (I have a button to pusu, I do not fear the mouth of hell. ;D ) to Adam and Danielle (Merde! You have listed them all - all at once! ) Presentations of best show of skin, both male and female, were a total hoot! And the funniest moment duel between Spike and Walt is an instant classic. ;D A halftime show by villians was inspired - the Oscars should hope they could do something as inspired! Pixi's song lyrics were perfect (loved the "ate a CW executive last night" bit **snicker**). Enrico's response to his award was perfect, just perfect! The footnotes on the guest star additional "acknowledgement" were positively inspired ("The Cutie Academy does not speculate on the size of any of the parts or pieces of any of its nominees: . . . snortle . . .) And the inclusion of Rob's soulful crooning and Vlad's natty intro? Genius! But everyone has raved about the words and the music. I gotta rave about the photoshop skillz. Dude!!!!!! The backgrounds! The props (drinking with Kendal C - now that's livin' large)! And most of all, the PLACEMENT of the Cutie herself! What can I say? Best show of skin - male?! ?! !! That deserves a . . . standing ovation. All. By. Itself. And finally, you really did Nan and Patti proud. Truly lovely and heartfelt and well done. Bravi, all of you! Bravi! I can't even start talking about the red carpet spectacular. Because I think I hurt myself falling out of the chair laughing. Really. ;D

And he did a great job with them.Yes - I have become quite the Photoshop madwoman since we started this Cutie thing. It was labor intensive, but the funnest part for me. Putting the Cutie under Apollo's towel - I was going to put her on the outside of it, but she just insisted it was better the other way.

This was magnificent! Thank you ladies! You completely outdid yourselves! From the intro to the red carpet interviews, it was fabulous! And, I loved the black leather proliferation in clothing choices you all described. I really liked my gown with the side slits. ;D

Cruising in late here to say thank you for all the kind words. Truly Spring did the majority of the work so she deserves most of the kudos. I think my favorite part of doing the Cuties is all the back and forthing Spring and I have where we mix our brains a little.
Thanks especially for the comment about having the villains sing the halftime show this year. I was so happy when inspiration sort of whacked me over the head and said try this. Plus I just love the musical Wicked so pure fun for me.
It is such a blast to do and the comments are nice to hear. I add my thanks to Vlad for his extras also.
Oh and is this the part where we get to thank people? Where did I put my list? I think I lost it when I was chasing Benji down the carpet.
