Why was there half-nekkid Hunt and not half-nekkid Sam? I mean, really.

God I love the music on this show. Also - OMG, the guys are, like, mentally 12 years old, aren't they? "First date, upstairs, inside." "She's not a prossie, is she?" ;D Heee! "I once hit a bloke for speaking French." But also, "This is my city. And it will be a safe place for my wife, and my mum, to walk around in. Is that understood?" Oh, DCI Hunt. You're just so very . . . you. And Sam has a real clue, with his perfume angle. But what's up with the girl who was tossed out of the car?

Oooooh, key parties? Heee! "Surveillance? Doesn't sound very manly . . . Spyin' on people." And "shut up, this is makin' me quite randy"! Oh, the poor guy who threw up on his girl. "Can you give me some pointers?" I think "be yourself" might actually NOT be the best advice for him. Showing some respect is a bit better . . .

And more "new versus old methods". "I don't like this. Gene Hunt smashes doors down. He does not pick girly locks!" "The law! The law! Get down!" "We are the bloody law!" Love how Sam alternates between wanting to show off (talking about how this will bring down Nixon) and getting frustrated and snarky as he tries to show them how to do these new types of policework. "We don't all have to be here, you know." OMG! Undercover as "Tony Blair"? Heeeeee!! And I agree with Annie. This guy is creepy. He's not just a fun having party wife-swapping guy. There's something else going on.

Nothing like a ton of innuendo and significant looks. Oh damn. Sam's making it his "personal duty" to find the missing girl. I'll bet she's dead. Oh, they weren't expecting a strip right there in the living room. Oh!! And holy crap. Hunt. And his "wife". Suki. Oh how perfect!! Heeeee! ;D ;D ;D

"Not gonna end up with our own bloody wives, are we?" Oh, the missus didn't like that.
OMG, she's whipping him?!? Heeeee!! "He was giving me names!"
Sam goes to talk to the wife. Good idea. Because she either knows or she is the guilty one.

Of course he sees his aunt. 'Cuz the case is always connected to the person visiting him/voice he hears.
And now the awkward Annie chatting. Heh! "I'm hoping to . . .see . . . meet someone myself . . . tonight." "Good for you sir."
Oh, and ending with Gilbert O'Sullivan. Oh lovely!

Why was there half-nekkid Hunt and not half-nekkid Sam? I mean, really. Because the universe is not a just and fair and humane kind of place. ;D

The Moody Blues! I actually like the Moody Blues! And, seeing the aunt had to be strange. So far, have all his cases touched on or involved running into or working with people he ends up having in his life in the 21st Century?

I can't entirely recall, but a majority of them have some connection with Sam's life. Which lends credence to the idea of this being a coma...

So far, in episode 5, we haven't run into anyone from Sam's 21st Century life. But, there was the thing about the overdose which played out in 1973.
