Ah, and this is why Gene is so crazy. His brother. (And of course the unintended by him commentary about how they were raised the same but he's not addicted while he drinks from his flask.)
Ah. His bird. Who was there when he was shot and stabbed. And, as recall, who did some of the books.

I love when they make me react like Sam - heroin, a new one? Heee! "Chris doesn't move and he's not dead." ;D Gene can crack my shit up. Pig that he is. 'Cuz he's got a quick way with a phrase, that's for sure. ;D Oooooh, and she's Maya's mother!

Not so sure.

Oh boy. Sam is in trouble with Cartwright. She's all upset. **nods** The moment she was all "that doesn't matter" I knew she was not happy.

Aye! And who the hell is Mrs Toolbox? You mean, Big Bird? What a show! My mother was speculating that the girlfriend is a drug dealer. Could she possibly be involved? Problem is, Gene is so often dreadfully wrong in his guesses about whodunit. Hmmm. That's 'cuz Gene's method is keep punching everything and you'll eventually hit the right thing.

Very nice reveal. There's the original drug dealer, too! With Toolbox. He's in up to his eyeballs.

Sam and Annie? He gave up on Maya? I'm a bit slow on the uptake. Wow.

So, I wasn't saddened by this episode. Actually, it had some heartening elements to it. Overall it wasn't sad to me. Good, as usual, though.

Oh crap. Sam's been coshed. Ha! I knew that the guy that Gene first shook down was part of it. And Sam was right! And Annie got saved! And Chris got a "nice work"! And little Maya will get born! Gene and Sam at the guy's bedside. (Another coincidental Gene commentary "if you can't save your own family", as he takes another drink.) Awwww. And they stay there and play music.

Gene told Toolbox to just take care of things? WTF? If you do this, you'll be a different man. I already am. Gene's totally gone over the edge. And Sam's right. If you're gonna let someone else do a killing for you, you might as well just do it yourself. And, just because, why a taped up radio? He gets messages from that radio, right? Oh, yeah, I knew that. Just, why taped up/beat up? Which is basically just idle musing . . .

I needed to confirm that for me, because I wasn't sure what radio he was talking about. ;D I'd like to know why it's so "used" as well. Maybe like carrying around a childhood teddy bear with one eye missing and the fur all worn out, re-stitched several times over to keep the stuffing in. Something like that?

So, Sam helped name his future girlfriend. Am I the only one who thinks that's a little weird?
