So, I'm hoping y'all might be able to help me out with this one. EW reviews Torchwood this week (giving it a B, if anyone cares ), and in the first paragraph the author (Ken Tucker) writes: "...the celestially promiscuous Harkness, who has bedded at least one female member of his Torchwood crew, one male member [the joke practically writes itself...], variously comely outer-space creatures, and a smoochy "Time Agent" played by guest star James Marsters..." What I'm wondering is this: when did he sleep with a female Torchwooder? 'Cause I've seen every episode, and I sure as hell don't remember hearing about Jack having sex with either Toshiko or Suzie. And even if I hadn't already been certain of it, "Reset" confirmed he and Gwen haven't been together. Am I just completely missing and/or forgetting something, or was Tucker hallucinating when he wrote the review? hallucinating. or getting a much more fun version than the rest of us do. I want the fun version where the whole-team orgy actually happens!

I want the fun version where the whole-team orgy actually happens! *smacks Lola's...whatever works* No, I don't want to see that! Because the first time it was put into my brain was because of words from Owen, and that would never end well. Unless you're Owen. Which nobody else is. And I haven't caught anything that has Jack doing any of the girls, only Ianto and John. Of the humanoids in this timeframe anyway. Unless you count that woman with the fairies in S1. But it's a while ago and I don't know whether they were actual lovers or just platonic Ninteen-Teens ones. And she wasn't on the Torchwood team anyway.

But that reminds me, I've heard speculation that Captain Jack might not be as "sleep with anyone and everyone" as he appears. Certainly he's an equal opportunity flirtist and he makes reference to the point of bragging about numerous sexual encounters, but we've never actually seen him sleep with anyone. There's only a handful of people with whom it's reasonably certain he's actually slept with and or had a relationship. So, what do y'all think? Are we to believe that he really slept with his executioners and twin acrobats (?) and Proust and etc?

Well, I did score as Owen on that quiz thingee . . . ;D I think Jack would have slept with any of them, if they were also truly interested, but for all his flirting, he's not gonna press or step in where he's not equally wanted. IMHO, of course.

Going with my "would with anyone, if they and he were both interested", I think yes he probably slept with anyone that he specifically says he did. I mean, he could just be name-dropping, but . . . I get more of a "I'm just happy about it all, no need to overplay or underplay" vibe from him. But he also does an excellent job of appearing to be very open and up front while managing to actually keep most of himself hidden (a trait I can empathize very much with), so you never know.

Ianto said he was "innovative...avant garde". That, to me, implies abundant experience. I mean, people can talk a good game, but I'd expect someone who was all talk to be less than innovative.
