Kate and Juliet, bonding and sharing Jack insights and so on. Awwwww. Back to the future with drunken!Jack and suspicious-acting!Kate. Down down down we start to spiral down the drain. Just trust me. Just let it be. Aaaaand of course he's not gonna do that. Doing something for Sawyer. A promise. He chose to stay. So . . . . it was a choice for at least some people? "I'm the one who saved you." Hmmmmm. The way he said "you're not even related to him" made me think Jack knows that he is related to him . . . Claire and the baby and her dad just walked out into the jungle?! Oh that was soooooo not the time to be all jovial with Sawyer, dude. If the baby hadn't cried, he was totally gonna smack you. What the hell happened to Claire? And how totally opposite the way things usually go, to leave the baby and take a gown up instead.

Whew. At least she's a doctor with accurate knowledge of anatomy and all that. Yay! fixed him!
Why do you need to tell her that, that Jack kissed her?
"Trying to prove something"? aw. heart breaking for Juliet.
As if Juliet gave Kate a gift.
"I know you're awake" She's semi-evil. I like her a lot.
Jack's home early because he's nutso.
And he's drugged and arrogant and bitchy. Lovely. And now come the paranoid questions.
Trust her.
SHIT, Jack. Well, the drugs don't help.
Oh, Jack, for your happiness, you don't need to know. But I suppose that it's in your nature after your first marriage.
What is she doing for Sawyer? and is Jack jealous of a man they left on an island? YAY he's alive!!!
Jesus, he's being a petulant bitch. Jesus, Jack.
Wonder what Sawyer asked him to do? And Miles, you are so begging to get the hell punched out of you.
Baby-bait! watch out for traps!
Crap, is there any way to keep Aaron fed yet?
Who was THAT in the preview who's been dead for twelve years?

Heh! A perfect bedtime story to be reading to an island-kid, eh? If that is Aaron. He's rather old looking to be Aaron. The timelines, they are killing me!!! When is this??!? Ah, classic stoic-Jack. Oooooh, voices troubling Sawyer's crew. Aha! That's right, he's the guy who talks to ghosts and stuff. Damn. Shallow grave time. Damn. Now that means Rousseau is truly dead. Damn! Um. How do you know if your appendix has ruptured inside you? You got inner-xrayormri-like vision or something, Jack? You'd know. Jack would know. Anyone whose eardrums remained unruptured after the screaming in a mile radius would know. A ruptured appendix means pain about a hundred times worse than simple appendicitis.

And I love how Kate didn't exactly give her the reaction she wanted. ;D Gosh, maybe I should try some of that, get them to send me home early. That's the implication, isn't it? Or is it that he "decided" to die while letting others escape? I worry about my sweet protective woobie-baby-darlin' Sawyer! Miles was totally saved by the baby cry. Who! Who! Who! I want to know now!!! Ahem. Well, it's gonna be a long wait until next ep. I guess it gives me time to try and find an online timeline of flash-forwards.

I thought last week's episode was better, and more intense; but this certainly was...eventful. And an episode with half-nekkid Jack can't be missed anyway .
I certainly hope we'll be told why Claire left her baby and where she's gone. I will be annoyed if that's left as just another island mystery.
Can a three-month-old baby drink coconut milk? Though little island-Aaron looks a lot older than three months...
Mostly more questions and not many more answers.

Who was THAT in the preview who's been dead for twelve years?Actually, that's the man who welcomed Ben and his father to the island when they first arrived. For some reason I always recognize Doug Hutchison when he shows up in something, probably because he made such an impression on me as the liver-lovin' and always flexible Eugene Tooms on The X-Files.

Lola!
Here's that scene. Korean in parentheses.
Jin: Charlotte.
Charlotte: Yeah?
Jin: (in Korean) (I know you understand me.)
Charlotte: *shaking head* Pardon?
Jin: (I know you speak Korean. You smiled when Sun and I talked about you. And you were listening to us at the station.)
Charlotte: I'm sorry. Perhaps I can get your wife to translate--
Jin: *interrupting* (If you continue to lie...I'm going to hurt your friend Daniel.) *Charlotte stares at him soberly*(I'm going to break his fingers one at a time.) *Charlotte continues to stare at him* (Do you understand that?)
Charlotte: (What do you want?)
Jin: (When the helicopter comes for you...you're going to take my wife off this island.)
Charlotte: (What about the rest of your friends?)
Jin: (Just get her on the helicopter.)
Charlotte: *introspective for a moment, nods curtly**Jin walks off, and Charlotte looks chastened at having let out her secret*

Oh, snap!! Love that Jin called Charlotte on her understaning Korean. But if someone could give me the gist of their whole conversation, I'd love it. 'Cuz we've got weather warnings here and they keep cutting off the bottom of my screen so I lost some of the subtitles (damn it!). Not to mention the sporadic beeping cutting off the actual sound and dialog and stuff. Good, they do have Bernard helping too. Use all the medical people that you've got. Um. I gotta agree with Juliet here. If you jerk or move at the wrong time, well that would be bad! Ah. So, is this Jack's visitor now? Smoke detector! Oooh, is his visitor gonna be the smoke monster? Nope, just daddy. Wait, unless his dad is the smoke monster? Hmmmmmm. Is this his first foray into self-medication and the spiral downward then? Asking for a scrip from a friend? Suspecting Kate? Yep. There he goes. And take it with a beer, Jack, yeah there you go. HOLY MOLEY!!!! Jack and Claire's dad with Aaron on the island?! Is that a hallucination/dream on her part, or . . . ?They're all stuck in someone's whacked island nightmare? Or maybe polar bears....

I am confused.
How is Kate doing something for Sawyer who is still on the island? She's phoning him? I'm so confused.
I adore Sawyer. Jack bored me. Kate bored me and most of this ep was Jack being boring but:
Jin - what a badass! Loved that scene with Charlotte. Hurley is always made of awesome. Glad ghostwhisperer boy got a chance to be something other than a hostage.
I watched this online so no previews so what did the previews show?

I guess I figured Sawyer had asked the favor of her before they left the island, since in order for Kate to have Aaron it means Sawyer must get to the beach before the Oceanic Six depart. It looks like next week focuses on the guys on the boat and what the Locke/Hurley/Ben brigade is up to; we also know Locke spends some quality time chatting with a man killed in the Purge, so that should be pretty interesting.

EW's Doc Jensen has a very interesting theory about Claire:
If you were baffled by Claire's statement ''at least I'm not seeing things anymore,'' I'll repeat the intel I reported last week: Apparently, there was a scene in ''The Shape of Things to Come'' in which Claire had a hallucination after the freighter mercs blew up her New Otherton cabin, but it was cut for time. My hunch is that her hallucination foreshadowed the moment last night in which she saw Ghost Dad (now Ghost Grandpa) cradling Aaron by the campfire. ''Dad?'' she exclaimed — echoing Jack's very same exclamation back in ''White Rabbit'' when he spied (and chased after) White Rabbit Christian for the first time. When Sawyer awoke and found her missing, Ghosthustler Miles reported that she took off with Christian in the middle of the night. Sawyer subsequently found Aaron abandoned in the bushes. Where did Claire go? Spoilery images released to the Web indicate we'll learn the answer next week, so I won't pretend to guess. But this thought occurred to me last night as I tried to make sense of Miles' fixation with Claire: What if she actually didn't survive the obliteration of her home in last week's episode? What if she died? What if the Claire we've seen since then is some kind of spectral but physically tangible manifestation of Claire generated by Island magic, just like Eko's brother Yemi, Kate's horse, and now, apparently, Christian? Could that be why Miles is so intrigued by her — because he can sense that she's no longer human?

Teaser
Arguing about the sat phone.
Jack trying to be all leaderly when he's feeling like shit.
Ooh, shirtless Jack.
Is he in a hotel room? Oh, just a really nice house.
Man, Jack sure has a lot of tatoos.
So he and Kate did get together. Yay!
Was that supposed to be suspenseful? Because it really wasn't.

Part I
Jack and Kate raising Aaron together.
Alice in Wonderland? Identity crisis. How apropos.
So this means that Christian is definitely dead, right? Or at least as far as Jack knows.
This is moving really slowly so far. I mean I like Jack/Kate, but still I'm used to the show being jammed packed with info, not knowing looks and smiles.
Oh, so Miles decided to go with Sawyer, Claire, and Aaron.
Miles hears the voices. Maybe this means we'll finally get an answer about the voices? He's the only one who hears them. And he can make out what they're saying.
Danielle and Karl.
And they're buried right there!
Wait, is this the same place where they were killed or did whoever buried them move them some where else? I am so confused about the geography of the island.
They're not my buddies. So the black ops team didn't know what they commandos were assigned to do.
About Jack's diagnosis. Appendicitis.
I like Jack and Juliet talking to each other like doctors.
Hey, I saw ad hoc appendectomy in The Stand! It never works out well.
