I don't think I understand the bit about Prisoner Six being pregnant and Tigh (potentially/theoretically) being the father?
I thought 2 cylons couldn't procreate with each other? No?

Unless the final five are more human than not and thus different from the others, likening it to a human/cylon mating.

omg! gun! Funny thing about that gun... It's a COP (Compact Off-duty Police) .357 model. The same gun was used in Blade Runner by Leon when he shoots the blade runner giving him the Voight-Kampff test. Which kinda fits in with all the other Blade Runner references.

Some sort of "survival of the fittest evolution to guarantee survival of the species" thing? But it would totally undercut several seasons worth of brou-ha-ha over the hybrid babies. Since she's in custody is there any chance she's been with anyone else but Saul? Baltar maybe? Is it possible that Saul and/or the other 3 only think they are cylons. That would also be a huge cheat on the fans.

Well, clearly they can. Now we know that Cylons are cofertile with humans in both directions AND that they're able to reproduce with one another. Dave's theory is that they didn't try "the old fashioned way". Mine is that the male Cylons aren't compatible with the female Cylons, EXCEPT for these models we know about and the other Cylons don't (yet).

And the preview...was that a gigantic spoiler, or are we being deceived? Because if it was a spoiler, then I'm irritated as all get-out, 'cause it's HUGE. Even if it means Dave and I were right about Roslin.

Well, clearly they can. Now we know that Cylons are cofertile with humans in both directions AND that they're able to reproduce with one another. not necessarily. like sue said, it could be that Caprica Six has had another partner that we don't yet know about. or there could be some other explanation. or the pregnancy test could be wrong - hey, it's happened before . that doesn't really ring true to me. we did (much as we wish we hadn't) see the Cavill-on-Boomer action, amongst other things. if they're making out in public, they're likely trying "the old-fashioned way" in private. ;D hmm. do we definitively know if the final five are all only one model each? are there more of them out there? last night while watching i was wondering if the final five can resurrect. we haven't yet had that answered, have we?

Unlikely, though. I think the whole point was to show us that Cylons, at least some models, really can reproduce with one another. They could, of course, go with the less parsimonious answer, but that wouldn't make a lot of sense - Adama would have known if anyone else had been in there with all the monitors, etc., turned off, and he was pretty damned sure that Tigh was the only possible suspect. I doubt he'd have made that accusation if he didn't think it was the only real possibility. And she's not pregnant enough for it to have been someone from before she was locked up...unless Cylons store sperm or fertilized embryos. Yeah, he was sort of joking. If there are, none of the other, multi-bodied, Cylons know anything about them. So they're somewhere...else. My money's on them being unique. It's unclear - deliberately, I think.

It would make Hera really very special.
