Strangely enough, in today's Living on a Prayer, Faith is verging on pissy when she's sent off to protect a seal with no back-up. Julia, and then she keeps getting sent to voice-mail. Faith's been through a lot, and learned when to hit once, but still she's in a state of blind flailing. Julia, short witty chapter, this Faith spills salt, has a smoke, thinks of destiny which, now that I think of it, could be mistaken for the beginnings of a spell. Julia, Hepcat's patent Friday cliffhanger as before.

As Living on a Prayer continues that cliff may have been a little shorter than Faith thought when she was hanging from it; either that or the local demon chapter is recruiting where those scary pamphlet-pushing people who come to the door keep saying they are. Julia, it would explain a lot about Faith's past, either way

Sorry for the interruption in Living on a Prayer updates; strenuous couple of days, here, and I'm never sure when I'll run completely out of energy yet. Three more chapters have posted; ten and eleven are on the list under "living on a prayer" link above. Please remember to add ?style=mine to the end of the url if you have trouble reading or loading the page. Today, Faith ends up patching up her angel while Father Steve is left wishing for a visit from the exposition fairy. Julia, poor Father Steve

Living on a Prayer, the next bit: Faith wonders if being a priest is like working at Disneyworld while Castiel's the one with the celestial mop and carpetsweeper. Julia, y'all really should be reading this, honest

Julia, really, people, read this Castiel has a unique take on the human experience; chapter should have warnings for Manicheanism. Julia, didn't St. Thomas Aquinus have something to say about the interactio of faith and doubt?

Living on a Prayer starts a new week and Faith appeals to Casteil to come with her as she takes time to make a pilgrimage. Julia, me, I'd be nervous around witty angels

Living on a Prayer, Faith figures out what Castiel's purpose for her is and finds out that he has a real talent for looming, as she should have expected having known that other Angel. Julia, who doesn't come up in conversation, although others do.

Julia, who doesn't come up in conversation, although others do. Looking for a place to grieve the dead, Faith finds instead a monument to impissibility. Julia, meanwhile, Castiel finds out about lack of impulse control Castiel views Faith's destiny, and her life since she was sixteen, as something angels aspire to; goes to show you why angelfood cake is poorly named, I guess. Also: Hepcat links to an earlier story of hers, Vessel; it should be read, but, unless you read it when it came out at Christmas, you might want to wait until tomorrow; it depends on how attached you are to the shock of having a cliffhanger resolved. Me, that's the least of why I read anything; I always want to know right now, and the only spoilers I don't like are the ones which make me live with bad stuff longer than I have to. So I read it today. Julia, I suspect I am a totally different subspecies from the spoiler-averse
