And Mohinder is eating drug dealers. Well, I suppose it could be worse.
So. things are weird when Sylar is the one stopping Peter from killing someone with the magic finger of doom.
Great. She goes after the worst one first.

Interesting to have a voice-over by Nathan. Is it because our dear Doctor Suresh is so involved in his own mutation that he doesn't have the ability to be the "overview" guy? Can't see the big picture anymore? Um. Don't tell me that Mohinder is gonna start eating people too. Well, damn. Sylar is saving momma P from Peter who tried to eat her brains?! It's madness, I tell you! Mass hysteria! Cats and dogs living together! Everything is all turned upside down!

"Promise to put you in a more spacious cell" hah! incentive, there.
"Wait!"
How.... how is Linderman talking with Daphne? I guess he's not dead.
No, he is dead. He's just really talented with that "hanging around" thing. A very selective ghostie, he is.
And the Sylar & Noah Bennett road show...
Claire playing out of her league here...
and he's not a monster, as otherwise she'd be dedder than dead.
Spider-mo-mo back at his ranch with his afternoon snack..
I wonder where his neighbor's parts have been stuck.
And Maya, who has dated psycho killers before, knows the signs and wisely runs....
This reminds me a lot of the more recent Earth Vs. the Spider, a horror movie made by showtime, I believe, which dealt with the more realistic results of mixing spider DNA in with your own: the hero of the movie started off wanting to be spiderman, and wound up eating everyone.

Adam does bring up the point I've been thinking of. Why keep the formula at all, if it's so dangerous? Wait. So, Daphne the speedy can also see Linderman?! WTF? Or is this scene from the past? "Rehabilitatio doesn't happen overnight." Um. Understatement much? Is the place that the vortex people go just slightly out of time? And what the hell is Mohinder gonna do with the guy he grabbed? OMG! He's coccooning them up!! So, he is like the Fly, only more like the Spider?? I suppose the whole climbing up the wall and hanging from the ceiling with no other support was our first clue . . .

And he outs her as being on a bootless junket. Who are these Pinehurst people?
Well, I've had foofaraws with my neighbors where I'm glad neither one of us could create transdimensional oubliettes.
And Traci. I'd say it was fairly clear what she was doing on that bridge, Nathan.
So ya accidentally killed someone. We all do that every now and then. So long as it was an accident....
Which raises the question: what would the Company do with her?
Oh. He died and saw god. That explains some of it.
god, doctor in reseda.. one or the other...
Claire, you're doing the whole "hunt down bad guys" thing wrong. It's possibly an improvement, granted, but....
Hi, Noah!
Hi, Sylar!
Oh, this can't be good. How long can Canfield hold a black hole?
This has got to be freaking Claire out, being held from destruction by the guy that ripped her head open and gave her brain a front porch for a while.

And Mohinder is eating drug dealers. Well, I suppose it could be worse. How?! How could it be worse?! No, don't tell me. **weeps over the poor beautiful Momo now turning into mutant spiderguy who is molting** He could eat all the people he wants if he'd just stay pretty and non-moulty!! **pouts** ;D Yup. That's oh so very Claire.

so far, this episode has done absolutely nothing to get me to understand what the heck peter was thinking when he re-took sylar's powers. i'm just feeling more confused than before.
(and feeling even more glad that claire's biomom didn't raise her!)

for heaven's sake, what did they think adam would do? did mama P know this would happen, or is this another of her "brilliant" plans?
ETA and why the heck did maya go back there?!

Heh! "Peachy"
Fair point to Claire: "who are you to talk, bringing him in here?"
Claire's thinking that she may not know who he would let into or take out of level five, is Sylar is there.
"Like the cantina!"
"tough, not like Mr. Roboto"
Heh. trying to make him manuallly blink.
"We're in a lot of trouble, Nathan" and I put us there.
Your mom? is hiding lots and lots and lots of things.
So three Ali Larters out there, from her viewpoint, too.
And the jury is in on "doctor in reseda"
So Maya, not having as much of a sense of self-preservation as I thought, goes back to Spider-mo-mo's lab.
Alive! I thought he was eating them. Maybe he's saving them to lay his eggs.
And she tries to rescue his victims.
Spider-mo-mo knows he didn't leave that chair there.
Black eyes! And she reigns it in halfway on her own.

"I can fly, but I can't talk about it." Heeee! Nathan is now the spokesman for "don't ask us about our mutantness, don't tell about your mutantness, or we'll, like, freeze you". Whoa. And now Sylar saves Claire, against her will, from the vortex. Freakier and freakier!

That's oh so very Claire. Alas, Poor Mohinder. Once an upstanding major Hunk and scientist, now a Spider-monster. I really don't like what they've done with him (though I might forgive him a lot if he kills Maya - oh, will he?).
Is it just me, or is Claire's sudden quest to kill villains a bit out of character? I mean, it seems as if the writers didn't know what to do with her between high school cheerleading and adulthood; and, I guess, taking a year off to travel or something was out.
And while Sylar's attempts at reformation are interesting, he still gives me the creeps. I'm not sure he's for real.
The worse thing is Peter, who was and should be a hero if ever there was one, about to kill his mother and being stopped by Sylar. I worry a bit that HEROES will not last much longer if it takes characters we like and make them unrecognizable...Of course, I worry that HEROES won't last more than one more season at best anyway, all this multiple season stuff is fun for me, but I fear it's a bit beyond many non-SF-oriented viewers.
