Daddy Petrelli's talent breeding program moving right along. Wow. he's better at this now, as a ten-year-old than he is as 28 year old. Which sort of makes sense. Yeah, the freedom from inhibitions of a kid must make things easier. She actually thinks she'll win in this kind of bargain. Me? I think probably not.

NO! Don't excuse them!!! HAVEN'T YOU EVER WATCHED ANY MONSTER MOVIES, Tracy? we need to write a "Dos and Don'ts" guide for the heroes. the fact that both peter and sylar can do it without injuring the person or stripping them of their powers makes me wonder if papa p can too and simply prefers to do it the way he does it instead. I think that is an excellent point. And it would fit with daddyP's persona to deliberately choose to drain people.

They're setting us up for one heckuva finale to this arc I think. Somehow I don't think the catalyst is Claire; it's just too obvious (Hiro maybe? Ando?). I like the last scene, with the battle lines drawn, Mama and Dad Petrelli with their separate teams and agendas. (each one of them has at least one of their sons in the group) I liked Ali Larter a lot better as Nikki/Jessica than the icy double agent.
Parkman and Daphne are so cute together. And there were sparks flying between Sylar and Elle; and I don't mean the voltage from their hands.
I've concluded that poor Mo-Mo is lost to darkness indeed; it's not just that he's become Mengele, it's the hair - it looks awful, sort of a mini-pompadour look. And he's sorry for putting a human to torment with the experiment, oh, puh-lease!

Matt, you can be the one!! You can stand up to daddyP!! And if he wants you to send Speedy girl away? Then don't. Generally, any plan that is the opposite of daddyP's is a good one. "I said let me go, Arthur." Whoa. That. Was. Awesome! Gosh. I am so sorry I mutated you. What was I thinking! Heeeee! Return to the comics! Flip ahead to the panel that matches their exact conversation? Genius! Heeee! Gathering of the hero team! Cool. Now we have some knowledge (Claire is special among the specials) and a team and maybe even a plan! Woot! Well, crap. DVR cut off the last of Mohidiot's noble speechafying. What did he say (rough paraphrase) and what important things did we see in the slo-mo shots? Oh, he just bloviated on ponderously as the various heroes and villians assemble in two seperate rooms, until we see a Team Shot of Team Angela and Team Arthur: Arthur's side all behind him as he white-eyes draws an eclipse.

What the hell WAS the way that she was? Was she some sort of dangerously high-speed prostitute? that whole scene was so neatly done, especially the way the scenery subtly but significantly transformed. i felt like throwing up. i wondered whether it was that, or whether someone else has picked up where isaac left off...

Gosh. I am so sorry I mutated you. What was I thinking! there's a hallmark card for EVERYthing these days, isn't there? mine did too (i hate it when networks do this!), but luckily i wasn't recording anything at 10 so i rewound the next show to the beginning. we didn't see much more; to me, the most significant thing was that white-eyed papa p drew what looked like the same eclipse as the comic (guess he doesn't read comics!) and showed it to the "villains," intoning, "it's coming."

I liked Ali Larter a lot better as Nikki/Jessica than the icy double agent. me too. tracy's ability certainly seems to fit her personality! i found it more interesting with nikki partly because nikki loved micah and that gave the two-part character a human side even when jessica was doing awful stuff. (even jessica seemed to love micah in her own extremely twisted way) they're adorable!

Whatever happened to Nathan's wife and kiddies? didn't his wife divorce him? very, very cute! Oh! I thought maybe Mohinder had eaten them between episodes, or something.

Previouslies. Pinehearst, Pinehearst, Pinehearst. Lemme guess... this episode is going to be about Pinehearst? ;D Teaser All about eclipses. Wait, AfricanIsaac was working for Daddy Petrelli? Huh? Chicken and Waffles!!!!!!! I had no idea that they were popular in Japan. Hiro thinks that he's 10. Is this going to be really embarrassing to watch? "It's coming." *Snickers because I am 12* Daddy Petrelli wants to teach Sylar empathy. Which I would think is a good idea if Daddy Petrelli weren't such an evil bastard. What makes you think I'm capable of empathy? OK, that tugs at my heartstrings a little. But how did Sylar get to be lacking empathy, if it's not an inherent flaw? Shut in the room with Elle. And Elle zaps Sylar. OK, that's a very cool visual.

Part I
Peter and Claire in the aftermath.
I'll protect you! No, *I'll* protect *you*!!
Peter wants Claire to "stay innocent." Yeah... I think we've uncovered the root problem here.
Ah, the connection between the eclipse and emerging abilities.
*ignoring the scibabble, la, la, la*
What does Daddy Nakamura have to do with the eclipse?
Suresh is again completely oblivious to the his sponsors complete lack of moral compass.
Mutated Hero, like FutureSuresh?
Matt and Daphne at the Paper Company.
And AfricanIsaac? Ah, a projection.
Daphne confronts Daddy Petrelli. Uh oh.
Mama Petrelli can project?
Claire and Peter, bicker, bicker.
So... what Peter's really worried about is...him?
Ugh, I so hope that the show doesn't prove Peter right.
Claire is victimized yet again.

Part II I so want some chicken and waffles right now. Hiro playing around with everyone. Sort of a amusing, but also very cruel. Just the sort of thing a child would do. Back with Elle and Sylar. I'm kind of annoyed by Sylar's dialogue. I'm totally not buying his characterization. Wow, that was a really short act.

Part III Ah, Pinehearst was a mountain resort type place. Except it doesn't look like a mountain resort. Nathan has Daddy Issues. Crisis of identity. Nathan married Heidi because Daddy Petrelli wanted him too. That explains a lot. Nathan sees Daddy Petrelli again. I love the music here. Nathan has a role. Great, this again. Nathan's not buying it either. Good boy. Now Nathan's the favorite son. Elle and Sylar scene, take 3. Sylar thinks his mom made him this way. Does he mean his foster mom? I think we need to see something from Sylar as a child (the Making of Sylar) in order to make his storyline believable. The pain is gone. Wait, what? Just like that? Oh, Sylar took her electricity. It's amazing that Sylar's shirt was zapped off, but his pants are completely intact. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
