Okay, I'm really not getting why Sylar felt he had to kill Elle—especially when he already had her ability. It just makes no sense. More so than usual, I mean. just to prove he's eeeeee-vil!

A convention legend? Bequeathed his notebook to a humble bike messenger!? Hmmmmm. Is Nathan going the wrong way for the right reasons? Or is this supposed to mean the way might be sort of right? Or is Nathan just being his usual slightly idiotic self? PappaP says what the eclipse showed them, only he doesn't get what it showed him, does he? And daddyHRG seems to have successfully sown a few doubts in Elle and Sylar. "Nobody ever really changes." Ah. And here he goes cycling back again. EvilSylar returns. Next week - drama drama drama! Drama llama! The sad thing is I remembered the exact scene he was referring to...

matthew, have you quit watching? Oh, no, I haven't! I just had dad cooking dinner at the most inconvenient-for-heroes-time again this week, and when he cooks for you, he expects you to eat it RIGHT NOW, or he jewish mothers you until you want to die. So I ate, and was unable to type but for the occasional comment here and there. I'll be back for next week, barring dinner at the wrong times.

I've been largely unsatisfied with Sylar's characterisation this season - the only time he interested me was when he confronted the chained and sparking Elle, and took her power, and then they connected in other ways. I really thought it might work. I don't really get why he turned on her. Has he definitely killed her, or just tortured her?
So now I suppose we'll have another season or two (if Heroes lasts that long) of Sylar stalking and killing. Wonderful. Maybe he'll kill off Papa Petrelli.
GAIL

Something else occurred to me last night: when Sylar tried to get into Elle's brain earlier this season, she freaked so much she shorted out the controls to all the Level 5 prisons. Yet this time she didn't react with her power at all? Really?

One other quick thing: I laughed out loud when Daphne said she'd named her scarecrow Ray, as Ray Bolger played the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz.

Evil, damnit! Totally evil! Like, wicked (pretty) evil! Until, you know, he's not again. Or is. Or isn't. Like, whatever, dude!

Teaser
Running, running, running.
Not having superpowers doesn't mean you're powerless. Um, yeah, dudes.
So the Bennetts took Claire to the hospital after all.
Sylar and Elle totally did it. Well, that is one way to pass time during the eclipse.
Chance to reinvent ourselves, free of powers or parents.
Interrupted by SniperDaddy.
I kinda think Daddy Bennett is mostly angry at himself.

Part I
Nathan in chains. Yum. And he knows French. Sweet. And convenient.
If you know a man's name you can possess him. Names grant strength. I sure hope this has something to do with why The Haitian doesn't have a name.
Mohinder continues to ponder the eclipse.
*Sci babble, la la la la* Whatshisname agrees with me. Heh.
Cool shot with the eye in the lighter.
Oh, right. Mama Bennett made the decision by herself to take Claire to the hospital. Daddy Bennett wants her to lie.
Ah, Claire's having problems because she has no built up immunity.
Back to Daphne and Matt. Daphne has cerebral palsy. Her powers started with the last eclipse too.
Mohinder thinks whatshisname is stupid. Takes one to know one.
Back in the comic book shop. Oh, and the other guy is the guy from Clueless.
I'm really getting a kick out of how the scene playing out is on display in the open comic book. It's like that scene in Spaceballs.
Best. Day. Ever. Hee!
Elle and Sylar at a convenience store.
Nice jump cut to Haiti.
Whats his name has a bright idea: Powers will come back when the eclipse ends. Um, isn't that the most obvious possibility? I mean it's possible that they wouldn't, but my default assumption would be that it's temporary. Like how Superman needs the sun for his powers to work or whatever.
Love the artwork.
Haiti: fight fight, run run.
Claire and Mama Bennett in the hospital.
Elle and Sylar again.
Daddy Bennett beats the crap out of Sylar.
Yeah, I don't think that Sylar is really a white hat.
And then Daddy Bennett kills Sylar. But... is he dead?

Part II
Claire and Mama Bennett again.
Claire's dead. But...is she dead dead?
End of the eclipse. Claire comes back to life. All that worrying for nothing.
Matt back at Daphne's. Daphne's taken off.
Daphne reunites with her dad. Aww...
Back in Haiti. And suddenly we're in a war movie or something.
The Haitian puts some mojo on his brother.

Part III
Mohinder's scales have come back.
Back in the comic book store. Trying to talk Hiro into growing up.
Geeking out over over 9th Wonders. Hee.
Claire and Daddy Bennett. Claire rips him a new one. You go, girl.
If Claire came back then Sylar came back too. Yep.
Sylar and Elle takes Claire.
Sylar following in Daddy Bennett's footsteps.
The Petrellis aren't really Sylar's parents. So which is it? I'm so confused.
Hiro to the rescue.
