So fun to see this ep “again” (we saw a nice chunk of it at the Leverage panel at Comic Con – CK totally acknowledged that the Hardison/Eliot slashers were gonna have fun with it. Hell, he didn’t just acknowledge, he encouraged ). I love that they are amping up the danger this season. More jobs going farther off the rails, more things going wrong for our guys that they have to adapt to on the fly. “Overconfidence will kill you faster than a bullet any day. Fear is good.” “Oh, I have fear. And doubt. And really serious regrets. I should be fine.” “Science. It works.” **followed by hulk smash with tree branch club** “You kill to protect your rights. A real soldier? He’d die protecting someone else’s.” Damn, that’s a nicely written line delivered very nicely! You go, CK! High five! For morale! “You ain’t gonna rain on my parade today. I made a bomb! Out of a menthol light!” “There’s no talkin’ in fishin’, man! That’s the beauty of it.” “You’re too tense, it’s a delicate sport.” ;D Awwwww. Buddies! There have been several "Awww" moments this season, haven't there? I think I love the team's bonding moments best of all.

More Parker backstory, which is awesome. But also, I like the subtle shift in acting the character of Parker in car thief mode. Like we're seeing a bit of long-ago Parker. And now we even get a Parker doppelganger in the gang they're crashing. I predict by the end of the ep our guys will find a way to help her. Damn, Parker! Don't warn her - you're warning the gang! Well. Unless this is part of one of their patented twists and they are planning on her talking . . .

Nice "don't throw crowbars at people" snark. Dad! Let the angsty hijinks commence! "It's not your job to take down your own father." "No, it's my pleasure."

Nice "don't throw crowbars at people" snark. Dad! Let the angsty hijinks commence! I like this week. I thought it had more suspense in that I couldn't be sure that everything would turn out alright.

Yes! Nate was definitely walkin' the line there. He couldn't have been sure that his dad wouldn't have been killed before he figured out he needed to run.

He couldn't have been sure that his dad wouldn't have been killed before he figured out he needed to run. I was left with a question though: what happened to the evidence book? Did Nate really let all those trials go to pot with no evidence?

"Not paying you guys to lallygag." and "Call my lawyer." Introduce and sum up the character in just two lines. Damn!! Oh, Parker. "Working out"? ;D Excellent bit with Parker at the end, being there for the mark to see her and then her pride and being all happy about "I'm a grifter!" and taking notes on them all. Hee!

**squeeeee!!** It's the ep where they each tell how they stole the same thing (or tried to do so)! I love the flashback-story telling with Sophie, with Nate walking along, and them talking about what she's doing! HA! I thought Eliot might be the doctor guy, because even tho' she "cast" him differently in her memory, the voice and mannerisms were the same! And we also saw the arm of a serving person in her tale who I bet will turn out to have been Parker. And his memory of Sophie? All cockney "you're a bit of all right, ain't ya? And the server woman? Who handed him a knife thing? Blonde. That so is Parker. AHA! Hardison was the choking guy! But each of them imagined him older and heavier. Meaning my thought that the server is Parker will totally come true. Only question is, which person there was actually Nate? OMG, the every changing accent of Sophie? All the way to Parker who can't even understand her at all? Heeeeee! Annoying security guy is gonna turn out to be Nate, isn't he? No! No, it was all just a series of comic mishaps and it felt right into Nate's hands! And, of course, it was a fake and Nate was there to get the owner guy, not any of the thieves! Ah ha ha ha ha ha!! And it was all a goad to get them to go after it again.

OMG, this episode rocked! And the dagger was SO Topkapi! (Does anyone even remember that movie?) I loved that none of them recognized each other from this caper, but had different images in their minds. I especially loved Nate's tying it all together in his part of the story. That the security guy wasn't really threatening Sophie, but actually had a crush on her was so cute! And everyone's different recollections of Sophie's accent was only surpassed by her indignation about it.
And best of all was how he got them to realize that they were more effective as a team than they had ever been as individuals--right before sending them out to steal it again!

"Apparently the computer system is also an antique. Possibly steam powered. Which would be cool." ;D
I love when Sophie is so very very upper-crusty posh. Mmmmmmm.
"Charlotte!" "Auntie." Oooooooh!
Hardison hacking history is positively adorable!
I love how Sophie is teaching each of them. And I love how that just "takes too long" for Parker. "Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?" ;D
OMG, so much funny in this ep! Eliot's American Idiot in London act, Hardison's "whoo", Parker's auctioneer riff. HA!!!

"You watch hockey fights alone, at night, in your room?" "Yeah. You never know if you're gonna have to fight a guy on ice." "The con requires a carrot and a stick. I need her to be the stick." "Remember that time I was the carrot and I stabbed some body?" "I do, yeah." ;D And then I love his pep talk thingy that she keeps repeating to herself. "Don't stab, don't stab, don't stab." Also? Hardison and Eliot as faux cops? Too. Perfect!! Sophie is very good at playing hard ball. "Something isn't quite right." Ya think? Eliot taking out the cops? Seriously fun. And hot. And hot! Hardison taking care of business? Hot! Hot like burning! Hmmmm. So, did the Italian really con Nate into going after the bad guy while their hands are clean? Or is he so wanting to get the bad guy that he knows but doesn't really care that he was "tricked" into it?
