Shouldn't sylar's lie-detector mojo be going off about now with her?
Unless it's true.
We find out now if she is or isn't, the clodk noises are going at max, so he's tuned up.. and she tells him she's not.
"Give the love that only a mother can" and his bullshit detector pings on her.
As a useful killer. And going for the full honesty bit. And this may turn out to be useful for Angela Petrelli's survival.
And Claire gets the off switch..
And in order to win the chess match, she's had to sacrifice a queen. I guess she's not as fireproof as all that. Damn. I was getting to really like her.
And Mohinder makes it out of the mess, and has lless goop on his face now, it seems like.
Tracey picks him up.
Ando and Hiro Bonding!
Great. The Haitian. We coulda used you a few minutes ago, man.
And beginning of Volume Four.
Nathan selling out all the talents to... who?
Even Tracey, huh?
"Thank you, Mr. President" heh. nice.

I was getting to really like her. but i thought she was. i thought she survived the fire that she thought killed baby!claire because she WAS fireproof and mistakenly thought claire wasn't. am i remembering wrong? (i may well be.) no, that was the (presumably deceased) african not!isaac. it wasn't the haitan. i assumed that matt was having a vision of him like he had when he found mama petrelli at the paper company.

I realized something as I watched: Ando is the ultimate loyal sidekick, so what power is more apt than that of aiding a hero?

Why does Nathan want to round up all the talented people? So he can try to get them to work for him? Or so he can be the only one with extra gifts out there? I can't believe he's gonna round up little Micah - is Tracy going to let him? She does have a genetic connection.
And is Sylar really dead this time? Please?? (I have a feeling he's alive, so that the mystery of Sylar's parentage can be revealed - like I care. He's probably Matt's long-lost brother; and poor Matt doesn't need that baggage.
I hope Ando holds on to his power; it could be very useful.
I missed the part where Mohinder escaped (though I saw him looking at his reflection in a car window - did he drive off with Tracy?) and Daphne rescued Hiro. Does Hiro have his powers now? I really need a scorecard .

Okay, I'm not pleased with this season, at all at all, but there were two things I liked about this episode:
1) Hiro got himself off that flagpole - he wasn't rescued, and he didn't need his powers; he was brave and resourceful and smart and normal-human. I thought that was kind of neat.
2) Ando has always been supportive sidekick guy - He makes those around him better with his encouragement, so it's nice that his new power does that too. I hope he gets to keep it, as long as the bad guys (whoever they are at the moment) don't figure out how to use him.

Eh.
Though I'm having trouble caring, there are a couple of things:
Sylar isn't dead. Any more than Claire is - unless he burned to a cinder in the fire before the glass worked itself free of his brain stem. Otherwise - she survived being crisped in a nuclear explosion, and multiple fires, AND a piece of wood to her brainstem.
He's not dead. He's got too much potential to be dead.
What bothers me is that they actually succeeded in making me care about him, making me curious, partially redeeming him...then they undid all that character development. Meh.
Papa Petrelli? I can't imagine he's really dead. Though why he took so long to reboot, then, I dunno. But having stolen Adam's mojo, you'd think he'd be fine.
What becomes of the "light", then?
And who thought pouring a vat of the formula on the floor was a good plan? Peter's usually not that dumb.

Teaser
Ooh, Sylar Voice Over.
And the VO would be interesting if the show weren't so messed up at this point.
Nate and Peter and DeadDaddy Petrelli. Is Daddy Petrelli really dead?
Nathan's going to snooker Peter into following his plan? Not today at least.
Back at the Paper Company.
Sylar's requisite mwhah hah hah speech. At least we have a direction for the rest of the episdoe.

Part I
Claire reveals where her off switch is. You're not supposed to do that Claire! Have you learned nothing from Data!
Mohinder panicking. You reap what you sew, dude.
Daphne picks up the pattern of the Heroes abilities.
Ando tries the serum. Youch, you don't have to poke yourself so hard, dude.
Hiro manages to climb to safety. Dude, I could never have done that. I would have been splat in 5 seconds.
Hiro talks to his younger self. About the page of formula.
Back at the paper company. Mama Petrelli is calm; Claire is not.
I kind of like badass Claire with a shotgun. I'm not clear as to when she learned to use it though.

Part II
Ugh. Puppet Man again. Why has no one killed him yet?
Ando tries to go back in time. OK, this scene started off as embarrassing and got kind of funny.

Part III
All my brother ever does is disappoint people who believe in him. Wow.
This doesn't sound like Nathan. Is Daddy Petrelli somehow in Nathan's body?
Back with Ando trying to control his power.
Wait, Ando's power duplicates people? Huh?
Wizard of Oz reference.
And they've figured out a way to help Hiro.
Mama Petrelli's good at the psychological warfare, not surprisingly.
*more sci babble la la la*
Ah, Ando supercharges other people's abilities. Interesting.
And this is why Daddy Nakamura tells Hiro about the formula.
I never get tired of people calling Hiro Pikachu. Hee.

Paet IV
Mama Petrelli and Sylar. This should be interesting.
Ah, Mama Petrelli knows who Sylar's real parents are. And I'm guessing that the next volume involves Sylar trying to find them.
More of Nathan and Peterson Bickerson.
Closing Montage: Part Reset Button, Part Not.
Next volume: Fugitives.
What is Nathan's gameplan?
He seems to have a lot of self loathing involved, considering that he's a Hero himself.
And considering that Nathan's a senator, he doesn't seem to do a lot of senatoring.

I found myself not caring about most of this episode. It was a lot of blah blah blah fightcakes.
The next volume could be interesting if it's about regular normals finding out about the heroes, because so far, it's been all about heroes vs heroes. And people with superpowers fitting into normal society was always the most interesting part of the X-Men.
The mansion burning at the end made me think of the end of Rebecca. Or Jane Eyre.

I don't understand how Nathan's motivation changes from wanting to create super-powered people to do good and fight bad guys in the world (which seems to be what he was thinking about during the visit to the zombie & slavery enclave; to rounding up all powered individuals, whether guilty or innocent, to inter in camps and institutions.
Unless Nathan plans, once he corrals all these folks, to brainwash or coerce them into going out into the world to subdue evildoers in the name of Senator Petrelli or whatever.
It's still a bit sketchy. But this half of the season has been very fragmentary in the way of believable characterisation.
So where are futurePeter and presentPeter again? I do need a scorecard.
Not really looking forward so much to the second half of the season; but Heroes is still more fun than most of TV. If it doesn't drastically improve, though; I doubt there will a Season 4.
