This is today's SciFi Schedulebot. It's also locable by going to scifi.com and clicking on "schedule" which is usually at the extreme right-hand end of the menu bar. You need to click your timezone for the listings to be correct. It displays the current month and the next month, so 1-2 months at a time. Subject to change without notice, et'c and so on. Julia, scifi.com is, on the whole, a useful if often annoying site

This is a typical imdb TV show page. See in the middle where it says"US TV schedule"? If you click on "more" you get this display. It works for actors, too (I tried JM first, but he's not on TV this week). It's a great tool if you're home alone and bored and don't feel as if shovelling through the cable listings is a good use of your time. Julia, less helpful than I might be, eh?

Futon Critic is an excellent comprehensive resource for show scheduling info. I don't think it has information about episodes running long and so forth, though I've never really looked.

Thanks, everybody. I can see this will be helpful. I'll still encourage folks to post reminders the day before or of a premiere.
And to that end:
PBS is starting a new 6 part documentary on India tonight for anyone who is interested. The first episode is at 8 (central) tonight, followed immediately by episode 2 at 9, about Buddha.

Futon Critic is an excellent comprehensive resource for show scheduling info. I don't think it has information about episodes running long and so forth, though I've never really looked. Cool. That makes two places (the first being the Eureka section on scifi.com) which don't say when Eureka's coming back on. I'm betting it's in May, though, which is a standard time for SciFi to start new runs. As standard as they get, which isn't very. Julia, never quite recovered from the Farscape thing

A poster on the Eureka forum at scifi.com says it's coming back in June.
Low probability source, though- a "insider" blog of the sort which has proven falible in the past.
Julia, some of them are traps, but a lot of them just prove the whole "subject to change without notice" thing.

Sue, thanks for that, it's excellant.
I've found out this week that another Hugh Dillon project, "Durham County," has been picked up by ION- which shows you how far that network has come from the days when it was "Inspirational." Durham County is another cop show, but very different from the team-oriented, problem-solving, win/win orientation of Flashpoint. Dillon plays a homicide detective who moves to the suburbs after his partner is killed, and gets involved in a mystery which is more Twin Peaks than Law and Order flavored.
Will say when and where as soon as I know.
Julia, apparently a lot more US cable networks are starting to pick up Canadian productions; used to be just Sundance and Bravo

Some people might be interested in this (I am!) Starting January 14 on PBS, a series begins called Make 'Em Laugh. It's about comedians and comedy in America, hosted by Billy Crystal.
