Oh, one negative thing: it seemed to me that some of the special effects in this ep were well below the show's usual caliber. When the Tylium was being surrounded by the fighter planes, it looked a bit cheesy to me. I've always been impressed with the 'realistic' gritty look of the show, so I was surprised at how fake this appeared.

It's not Earth. That is all. ;D I'd sure like to believe that. There's a lot of babble about this over on the BSG forum at SciFi. Many believe it is our Earth. I choose to believe it is a planet called Earth by the 13th tribe, but is not our Earth. I know it sounds crazy. . ..

It's not Earth. That is all. ;D OK, interesting... I've got one for you. Kara is not human. She's not a Cylon either.

Or THE God...the one the Cylons keep prattling on about. I always figured their God had to be real in some way. And someone sent replacement-Kara and replacement-shuttle back to the fleet from ruined maybe-Earth.

My question is: If that isn't Earth, then why did Tyrol and Tigh have flashbacks to their previous life on the planet? Of was it a flashforward?

My question is: If that isn't Earth, then why did Tyrol and Tigh have flashbacks to their previous life on the planet? Of was it a flashforward? well, their flashbacks don't have to mean it's earth. it could be some other planet they lived on, or they could have connected with other people in some sort of intuitive way that didn't mean it was actually THEM living the lives, if that makes sense - connected to past people who weren't actually them. perhaps the Four have some sort of extra power that they aren't yet fully aware of (perhaps that's why they kept hearing the music when they first "woke").
