If they jump away from the fleet it really will happen again. This is why I don't like Tory.

Wow, lots of explanations.
I'm only a semi-serious follower can someone, if so inclined, summarize for me the known Cylon hybrid models? Numbers and various names.
Where does Anders fit in? How does he know so much? He's not one of the 12. Is he a cylon.
I followed some of his explanation but not all. Is there somewhere with a good summary of what, exactly, we learned last night?

So Number Seven was wiped. Not Boxed, but permenantly ended. Cavil's even more of a nutcase than I thought he was, which is saying a lot. Julia, because it got so bad in s2 than I couldn't watch scenes that he was in.

I was finally driven to this (Wikipedia page) last night because I was having trouble counting Cylons and coming out at 12. Julia, there is a BSG wiki but it's too damned slow to load.

loved the bold new beginning this ep. cavill/ellen is so many kinds of creepy i can't even begin to say. "i think we have to accept who we are" - nice segue between that chief/adama scene and the next one with sam.

act 1 "if you'll excuse me, i have some people to kill." "why, john, i think you're blushing." seriously, though, i think the conversation between ellen and cavill (john! ) raises some interesting points - how cavill has chosen to reject some human traits and characteristics, but has decided to pursue others, and how one could see that as hypocritical or understandable, depending on one's point of view. so is ellen really their creator? i guess perhaps i will find out over the course of this episode... i love starbuck's and chief's snickering when anders says tori and chief were madly in love in their past lives. i think adama's comment to chief about an all-human crew nicely encapsulates the not entirely logical thinking going on amongst the humans, seemingly often unconsciously. poor anders.

act 2
what do they mean about "boxing isn't permanent, not like number seven"?
"the one true god must have orchestrated these events" so do the cylon creators believe in a monotheistic god, too, or is ellen tailoring what she's saying to cavill's beliefs?
wow, cavill is seriously bitter!
funny segue from boomer's love rant to chief...
i think this chief/tigh/tori conversation says as much about the three of them as about the things they're talking about...
hey, the brain scan tech (doctor?) is the guy from the daily show!
poor kara - what an awful choice to have to make...
and yet another fascinating segue, from talk of sam's brain to cavill talking about ellen's...

act 3
i still think this six/tigh stuff is weird.
"daniel? are you sure that's the right word?" poor kara thinks she's seven.
"two days ago" so the two plots have nearly merged in time.
i think ellen's spot-on here - cavill wanted them to be among the humans so they'd come back and say they'd been wrong. he was so sure of his beliefs that he was convinced that was the only way it could play out.
so THAT'S what happened to seven!

act 4 i like that chief used sam's brain scan to come up with a way to check out galactica. poor ship! i love how much doc cuttle smokes. it reminds me of how many of the nurses and doctors smoked at a nursing home where i used to work, and how i've heard similar stories from a lot of people who've worked at hospitals, etc. "what are you doing?" "forgiving you" whoa! wow, is that assistant consistently cruel on cylon-related topics or what? does she never think maybe there's a reason the doctors haven't said things?

Ya know, I'd love to see "Galactica! The Musical!" that would either be really cool or really frightening. or perhaps both! ;D no kidding!! (i had forgotten her name again, too...) so much drinking (and smoking) in this episode! that hour just flew by, didn't it? and yet i feel like i need to watch this episode at least one more time to be sure i've gotten everything in cavill and ellen's conversations.

If they jump away from the fleet it really will happen again. This is why I don't like Tory. but it seems so very tory, though. she seems to have always been selfish, no matter what her interests were at the time...
