Who IS Margaret?
Margaret is apparently someone who kept templates on file at the Dollhouse in case of just such an emergency. This looks to be freaky interesting!!

Actives are on rest..
"Put a dead lady in her" When you put it that way...
That's a big mouthful of obfuscative technobabble he just spat out at Boyd, wasn't it? Wonder what he really wants the Active for?
Man, the implications of being able to live after your death like this. I don't think I'd be able to let go of the new body. But the body is conditioned to be submissive to the Dollhouse's handlers...

Ooooooh!! People store their personalities there?! So, do they ever get to "keep" a body. "So, we can give you life after death?" "Only if we really like you." Temporary. Hmmmmm. And what if she wants to stay forever? Is this really to just "wrap things up"?

Wonder what he really wants the Active for? That did have all the hallmarks of a scam, didn't it? Yeah, I'm fairly sure they can force her out if they need to, but damn. How hard would it be to be alive again and then just give it up?

..... ground glass. Yeah, I can see why that experience at that young an age would affect you like that.
She wrote her new persona into the will? Adelle, are you paying attention?
"Shh. I want to hear how great you were"
Kids, Brother, Servants, and the husband... is late. Kept Man
The flashy lights are more what the do when they Format an Active, aren't they?
This isn't a normal Dollhouse imprint. or we haven't seen the flashy light portion of the imprints before. Are there flashy light processes in the imprint, normally? Who is this personality? And how long has it been on ice?
Payl Ballard and Mellivember. Paul is so conflicted and torn up here. Surely she can sense the melancholy.. and he's checking out who November's body belongs to.
and we cut back to Julia and Adelle.
And it appears that Margaret was not as loved as she feels she should be.
"Loads of potential" hah. "Potential" versus "Pipe Dream" Yay for double standards.
The brother is the only one who is objectively honest.
Margaret, oddly, is upset about things. "The rest of us, we just live here"
And perhaps she needs to hear this. This all is making me think of Bede's Death Song.
And "Julia" bringing out the elements of a loving mother.
HAH!!!!!!!! So Momma didn't love her kids that much. "Not with my tongue!"
He was in it for the money.
"You spent a year and a half having painful brain scans because you thought someone was planning to kill you. So I'd say 'paranoid' is still a contender"
And someone spookywatching!

And Ballard is worried that "Julia" won't give up the body.
"Not planning on presiding over the end of Western Civilzation: this is a one-time thing."
Boyd is liking this "head of security" thing. Tasks Victor to check things out, without even checking with Adelle first, and she doesn't have even the quibble she'd have had with Dominic.
And "Julia" lets herself in for more slings and arrows. "elmo" "emo" "that's not a word, sweetie"
"You were serious about that?" So Mama REALLY had the double standard going.
"Tropical cookie" So the appearance of being a boy toy is what the daughter believes, despite any empirical evidence.
Jocelyn is jealous of the mother she never got to know intimately.
Why, hello there, Creepy Lurky Ballard!
She goes along with it, and he gets a positive hit.
An assload of positive hits along with a Dollhouse-implanted logic bomb.
Topher and Sierra's implanted personality.
"Sleepies" The actives? So how does this personality know about this all?
Mark is packing it up and packing it in.
And "Julia" is gonna find out for sure what he thought of her.
Mistakes her for a spy. and tells her more convincingly about his love for her.
And points her in the direction of Brother Bill.

She was prepping for this. Expecting this. So, are those expectations coloring her opinions now? So - Adele is an old friend, but not one she sees much or knows about her life now? Ah, she was a Dollhouse customer too. Which came first, I wonder. Customer or friend? There we go. Topher programmed in a game-playing buddy. And what else, Topher? What else? Who is this person to you? Mellie and Ballard, each playing their roles. He's the one who knows he's playing one, though, and that is killing him, isn't it? It's never entertaining to hear what people really think about you, is it? "Yes, Margaret could be awful, but so can I. And from what I can gauge, the two of you are hideous." Yes indeed. It is never entertaining to hear what people really think about you. Heh! Comfort him with her tongue. Interesting. "I thought it would be a maid or something." So clueless. I mean, dude!

Preppy Country Club dwellers.
Margaret's dead. Hey, maybe we'll figure out about who the imprints come from and so forth.

And we cut back to Victor.
"Her favorite....thing"
Technically, the executors are required to run it for the next year of racing to keep the value up.
And Nicholas, you don't have the right to say "aye" or "nay" to any sales.
And "Julia" with BrotherBill.
Topher and Sierra playing Laser tag while all the actives sleep. IS he really putting the equipment through its paces this way?
And Ballard back with Mellie. And the awkwardness just keeps mounting.
"You have to let me talk"
Oh, Paul, you have to do better by the girl in front of you right here, not just treating her like a victim.
And okay, so the need and the roughness comes out. Hmm. This isn't just affection for the persona she's got stapled on her. It's something much more primal.
"Think I wouldn't recognize my own mother, Mother?" So did he twig before or after the kiss? And is he a Dollhouse client himself?

Part I
Boyd and Topher.
Business has been slow since "The Incident."
So we can give you life after death. Only if we really like you. Sounds like Rachael was right.
Is there a risk? Not if I know what I'm doing. So there's a risk then.
Life after death. Where does that end? Same place it begins. Death. Huh?
MargaretEcho. Appears to be a close friend of Adelle.
About attending one's own funeral.
Now we have a mystery to solve!

So Sonny Boy was the creepy stalker.
"After I tried to kiss you" I think it would have been funnier if he knew before.
Dollhouse in Manhattan. Huh.
Gambling is all about ups and downs. I figured he was a gambler, what with the percentages talk.
This is what Margaret wanted. Adoration and affection and weeping into her bosom.
And Victor has found something nasty.
So maybe this is why Sonny boy didn't want him sold.
4 Million dollar pet.
Oh, god! got him in the gut with a bale hook!!!!
And Boyd is on top of things both outside the house and inside.
"So Topher can make friends" if he puts them together with his own two hands. DeWitt is aware, and indulgent. "Only happens once a year" and "Lonliness leads to nothing good" and "those who most need to reach out are sometimes the least capable"
Wow. Need to rewatch that bit.
Letter convicting Hubby in her own handwriting! Brilliant! But Hubby was dumb as a stick regarding horses...Sonny boy. Knew it. He was the one using the masking agent.
and she's gonna git it again!!!!!!
Unless what?

Boyd is hitting the wall now, isn't he? Interesting. This is the line he doesn't want to cross. What is the line for each of the people here? What would it take to make them want to stop things? Religion depends on a fear of death. Well, yes. "This is a one time situation." "You know you're asking her to voluntarily die when the time comes?" "Well, if she resists, I have a new head of security who handles that kind of thing." Yeah, come on in to the inner circle, Boyd. See how you like it. And now we send in more actives to look into things. Oh, it must be killing her (pun intended) to have to admit that she did things wrong in life. Hmmmmm. I now suspect the daughter. Because yes there is "follow the money, but anger over being rejected when someone else is not? Motivation. And of course Ballard is gonna try to use his FBI friends. Wonder how long that can last, though? "Just need authorization." And how much trouble will this cause for her if it's tracked back? "They are missing people, you know. They just don't know it." (Nicely put.) Whoa!!!! All the records of her, just . . . gone. Heh! Nice meta, with them talking about classic SciFi errors. "Can we play with the sleepies? . . . We could have them battle one another and bet on them like gladiators." Who is this person? "I know a spy when I see one." And of course, they're all pointing fingers at each other.

HAH! "This was difficult the first time, but it's getting easier"
So Jack doesnt' disbelieve in guns. Useful, that.
But he's had a balehookd to the belly, And Sonny Boy hasn't.
Well, more and more proof that Jack loved Magaret.
Wow, he REALLY loved Margaret.
Man, that's a stunning frock.
She took Nicholas's idea and repurposed it.
and she uses it for one last communique with her chilluns.
Mellie may have kinda liked it, but Ballard doesn't like it at all. He used her that way because she was a doll, not a real person?
Jack having a moment with "Julia" And reassuring her without knowing it that she was loved beyond measure. This makes me feel as good as the Ballard stuff disturbs me.
So Margaret was tempted. And now she dies with dignity, eyes open.
HAH! "I wouldn't have gotten as far as the airport" and this scene is making me mist up. Wow.
"Every single moment" and I have chills as she takes her hand.
