Part II
Margaret appears to be a Poor Little Rich Girl.
Hey It's That Guy!
MargaretJuliaEcho isn't a spy, she's a ghost.
Back in the Dollhouse. Imprinting Sierra. Topher imprinted Sierra to be his geek friend?
Ballard and November.
This is nice. We've got three parallel real person-doll relationships going on. Adelle and Echo, Topher and Sierra, and Ballard and November.
I highly approve of Ballard's shirt. Rwoar.
Ah, Ballard's collecting evidence.
Back at the funeral.
Nobody remembers Margaret the way she remembers herself. Oy. I think we've found the flaw in this perfect plan.
I think I know why ghosts are generally angry and vengeful.
Oh no, don't do this mistaken identities incestuous sexual attraction thing. And there it is. GAH!!
Wait, so "Julia" is an actual person? Or, no this was a persona she set up so she could assume it after her death.
I love them, but I don't like them. That sounds like my family.
Illusions aren't worthless. They're at the heart of most relationships.

"Do you believe in ghosts?" "Sort of. Just recently." "In a world . . ." Ha!! (Pretty and creepy camera shot of the dolls asleep, by the way.) Topher's person, this is another dead person, isn't it? One that he keeps bringing back, a friend or . . . ? "If that means lying next to you while everything is not fine . . . doesn't have to mean anything . . ." Man. That might as well have been said by him, couldn't it? And so we have the angry, angsty, sex. Who's a watchin', eh? "Did you think I wouldn't recognize my own mother?" Oh, snap!

And of course he knows about and uses the house. People should know you are to be feared, even after death. Is it just me that still doesn't believe the husband did it, even after the attack thingy in the stable? "Are you aware of the Topher situation?" "Yes." She allows it. Loneliness leads to nothing good. So, every year on his birthday? "How would he learn to drug a race horse?" Ah, yes!

Part III
Boyd's skeptical about the immortality dealio. And he's really philosophical about it.
You realize that's the beginning of the end. Life everlasting, it's the ultimate quest. It's Christianity, most religions. Morality doesn't exist without the fear of death [I'm not sure that's true, actually].
I'm not interested in presiding over the downfall of Western civilization. Or are you?
Supposed to be a one time thing. Question of whether Margaret will voluntarily go in peace.
Boyd's investigation into Margaret's murder.
Victor as a horse breeder.
Emo. Elmo. Heh.
Talking with Margaret's daughter.
Ballard asking FBI lady for another favor.
Dolls are Missing People, they jut don't know it.
November's real name is Polly Keller.
And just like that, the files are gone. Is Ballard really surprised that the FBI is tapped? On the plus side, FBI lady is now intrigued.
Also, does that mean that the other Dolls are leaving their fingerprints all over the place and they could be implicated in whatever crimes they are involved in?
Topher and Sierra still hanging out.
Sleepies. Actives when they're not active?
Margaret talking with her husband. Trying to see if daughter was right about him being a playa.

"I hope she didn't know. Didn't know the truth about her son." Oh, and she writes another note, and the will. Oh!! And one last chance to actually tell everyone what she didn't in life!! Oh, man. Poor Ballard. Poor unkowing person who is now Mellie!November. (And what did she do to get those arrest photos we saw ever so briefly before they all went bye-bye? More evidence that the Dolls are coerced into volunteering because they are in trouble and this is a way out, eh?) "I'll never know if she believed me." So, she wrote another note. Does that really make her feel better after knowing that she could have told them all this while she was with them, all along? Not waiting to make up for it, after? "Will I see my whole life flash before my eyes?" "Every single moment."

And Ballard is worried that "Julia" won't give up the body. "Not planning on presiding over the end of Western Civilzation: this is a one-time thing." Boyd is liking this "head of security" thing. Tasks Victor to check things out, without even checking with Adelle first, and she doesn't have even the quibble she'd have had with Dominic. And "Julia" lets herself in for more slings and arrows. "elmo" "emo" "that's not a word, sweetie" "You were serious about that?" So Mama REALLY had the double standard going. "Tropical cookie" So the appearance of being a boy toy is what the daughter believes, despite any empirical evidence. Jocelyn is jealous of the mother she never got to know intimately. Why, hello there, Creepy Lurky Ballard! She goes along with it, and he gets a positive hit. An assload of positive hits along with a Dollhouse-implanted logic bomb. Topher and Sierra's implanted personality. "Sleepies" The actives? So how does this personality know about this all? Yes, this! Is this the same person he "wakes up" every year? And who are they?!

Part I Boyd and Topher. Business has been slow since "The Incident." So we can give you life after death. Only if we really like you. Sounds like Rachael was right. Is there a risk? Not if I know what I'm doing. So there's a risk then. Life after death. Where does that end? Same place it begins. Death. Huh? Maybe referencing that this is temporary? Because she comes back to have them take her back out of this body? That was my take on it, at least.

Part IV
The actor who play Nicolas looks familiar.
Margaret talking to brother.
About haunted houses.
Topher and Sierra... playing laser tag?
Ah, the dolls are actually kept in their pods asleep because they're not needed. But wouldn't their muscle atrophy and so forth? Keeping them in good shape seemed to be very important.
Ballard and November.
I will give you what you need. It doesn't have to mean anything. And he goes all in. Oh, boy.
Heh. nice segue to MargaretEcho riding her horse.
Shadowy figure alert! Ah, it's Nicolas. Who recognized MargaretEcho when no one else did.

Coda
Margaret and Nicolas bonding.
There's a Dollhouse in Manhattan.
Ah, Nicolas had a gambling habit.
The horse was being given steroids. Hmm. I have no idea what that means.
Hide, hide, hide. Fight, fight, fight.
Boyd tells Adelle. Now Adelle's in the shadows.
Topher is given his liberties.
Sometimes the people who need to reach out the most are those least capable of it. Ah, it's Topher's birthday.
So it was the son after all.

So Sonny Boy was the creepy stalker. "After I tried to kiss you" I think it would have been funnier if he knew before. Dollhouse in Manhattan. Huh. Gambling is all about ups and downs. I figured he was a gambler, what with the percentages talk. This is what Margaret wanted. Adoration and affection and weeping into her bosom. Oh, well put! That was almost physically painful to watch. Ouch!! **nods a lot**

Coda II
Margaret's work is done. The ghost is free to leave this earthly plane.
Ballard's shower of shame.
Margaret saying goodbye to husband, then Adelle.
Life flashes before her eyes. Every moment.

..... ground glass. Yeah, I can see why that experience at that young an age would affect you like that. She wrote her new persona into the will? Adelle, are you paying attention? "Shh. I want to hear how great you were" Kids, Brother, Servants, and the husband... is late. Kept Man The flashy lights are more what the do when they Format an Active, aren't they?
This isn't a normal Dollhouse imprint. or we haven't seen the flashy light portion of the imprints before. Are there flashy light processes in the imprint, normally? Who is this personality? And how long has it been on ice?Payl Ballard and Mellivember. Paul is so conflicted and torn up here. Surely she can sense the melancholy.. and he's checking out who November's body belongs to. and we cut back to Julia and Adelle. And it appears that Margaret was not as loved as she feels she should be. "Loads of potential" hah. "Potential" versus "Pipe Dream" Yay for double standards. The brother is the only one who is objectively honest. Margaret, oddly, is upset about things. "The rest of us, we just live here" And perhaps she needs to hear this. This all is making me think of Bede's Death Song. And "Julia" bringing out the elements of a loving mother. HAH!!!!!!!! So Momma didn't love her kids that much. "Not with my tongue!" He was in it for the money. "You spent a year and a half having painful brain scans because you thought someone was planning to kill you. So I'd say 'paranoid' is still a contender" And someone spookywatching! I *thought* it looked different, but I couldn't remember what it really looked like cause we usually only see the memories flashing on the inside.
