2007. The Others, still marching two by two. Nice pan across the horizon. We're at the FOUR TOED FOOT!!! JACOB LIVES IN THE FOOT?!?!?! Is that like The Old Woman Who Lived In The Shoe? DHARMA time. Standoff between Jack and Sawyer. Sawyer's turn Flashback. Jack in surgery. Is he operating on Jacob? And Jacob's going to pop up and Jack made a mistake. Is this the same mistake that Christian made in that other flashback? Oh no, this is his when he operated on his future wife. Christian gives Jack the "count to 5" trick. Fix her, Jack, or I'll have to fix her for you. Jack surely doesn't want that! Jack is mad because he didn't get his Apollo Bar. So sad. Jack is upset because Christian gave him a time out. This is similar to that other conversation between them in that other flashback when Jack gave Christian a time out of sorts, which I guess was sort of a revenge moment. Ah, this is Jack's residency. And he's worried that he's only legacy. Are you sure I'm the only one who doesn't believe in you, Jack? Ouch! And... did you really just say that you don't believe in him? I thought all parents were contractually obligated to say that they believed in their kids. Or at least lie about it if they didn't. Although, the honesty is refreshing. And...there's Jacob. I am completely confused as to the pattern of his visitations with the Losties. The machine got stuck. I guess it just needed a little push. DHARMA time. Jack and Sawyer have a little heart to heart. Sawyers tells Jack his whole life story. July 1977. What's done is done. And what happened, happened. What did you screw up so bad that you're willing to blow up a damn nuke just to get a second chance? Um, you do know that Jack is a perfectionist, right? So... pretty much everything. Jack brings up Locke's "everything happens for a reason." I don't speak destiny. What I understand is that a man does what he does because he wants something for himself. What do you want, Jack? [-Who are you? -Why are you here? -Where are you going?] OH. MY. GOD. This is NOT going to be All. About. Kate! I am so fucking sick of Kate being the object that these two men fight and fawn and obsess over!!! Why does Jack think it's too late for him and Kate? And these finally come to fisticuffs! It's better than all the sappiness, I guess. Wait, Juliet is on Jack's side? Huh?

"When you're a grownup you'll understand" no, not really.
Poor confused James..
"I got a right to know why you changed your mind"
God I hate her parents so much now.
"Would stay with yo forever if I let you"
"If I never meet you, then I never have to lose you" Well, you're losing him NOW, you silly bitch!
Woohoo! Gauss reedings off the chart! Radzinzki, shouldn't you be tending to your exploding swan station?
Jack with Kate tending to his booboos...
"when I sewed you up like a blanket?" Good times, good times
And we get to the emotional heart about Aaron..
"I came back so he could be where he belongs" well, you didn't have to go to the island to do that.
"nothing, nothing in my life has ever felt so right"
and I think they punched through to the mosnter's lair, or whatever it is.
I'm guessing they are gonna put the bomb in the shaft, and someone is gonna arrest the explosion with some sort of yeehah-physics thingie that will simply delay the actual energy release until Desmond fails to press the button, and Locke refuses to.

Talk to us, Juliet. I'm just as confused as Sawyer. Ah, she's quoting her parents. And really, are everyone's motives due to love and pairing up and what not? 'Cuz if so, that is seriously messed up. Oh, the crazy is flowing like water tonight! Not a single person on this island really knows what the hell they're doing, do they? ;D ;D Jack just wants you to believe. Oy. Oy! And Radzinsky? You are a crazy crazy obsesso little man, you are.

Flashback. Rachael and... Mom gives the Divorce Speech. Oh right, Juliet. Ah, Juliet just wanted Sawyer to get it out of his system. Heh. Still All. About. Kate. *Sigh.* If I never meet you, then I never have to meet you. Swan construction site. Phil tells Razinsky about Operation Blow Up The Swan. Jack and Kate. Reminiscing about when they first met. About what happened to Aaron. Jack's gone completely into la la land. He's looking at the past/present with rose colored glasses. He's got a feeling in his gut that that is what he's supposed to do. Hmm.

Oh, is poor Sayid doomed?
I could seriously fall in love with Richard Jacob, if only for his dialogue with Hurley. And he's cute.

Hurley, undergoing the blues brothers treatment. Fruit rollup instead of a condom.
Hurley trying to stay arrested.
Jacob waiting in the cab. "Waiting for you, Hugo"
"I'm cursed" and Jacob can make it stop.. but he just makes it seem on the good side. But he reassures hugo that he's not crazy, that he's actually seeing ghosts. Touches him.
Was it Charlie's guitar in a new case?
"As close as you can to the source of the electromagnets"
"It will save you" "nothing can save me" Sayid died two or more years ago, Jack.
Cut back to the present...
Beach party at the foot of Sobek...
"Expect me to believe that?""Not really"
"John wants me to join him" in that "I am so over all of this" voice.
Woohoo! hidden door!
"Be able to do this, Ben?"
"things will change, once he's gone" And Locke has odd faith in Ben. maybe he knows Ben is gonna stab him in the back. Remember, Ben, the left kidney is no longer there!

Oooh! Jacob met Hurley after he went to jail. "I was waiting for you, Hugo." "Oh. Then you must be dead." Jacob got him to go back to the island, didn't he!! Tells him he's blessed, not crazy, and that it's his choice to do whatever he wants. That is actually rather refreshing, for this show. Sayid. "Nothing can save me." And he really doesn't want it to, does he. Suicide!Mission!Jack is suicidal. Back to the future, once again under the foot of the statue. There can only be one leader at one time. And Locke is all "screw the rules, dude, I'm a rebel". Into the foot they go! "Things will change once he's gone." So, basically both Jack and Locke are on a change kick. Dude. I soooo wouldn't turn my back on a Benry with a knife in his hand. Just sayin'.

Has Locke become a lot more bloodthirsty recently; or am I crazy - he wants to kill Jacob, and now he wants to kill other Lostaways.
Locke and Ben having a strange little heart-to-heart.
G. Locke and Jack have each gone over the edge in their own special way.

Hurley. This is him being released from jail?
One fruit roll up. Heh.
Hurley tries to stay, but he runs up against the wall that is the criminal justice bureaucracy. Heh.
And... here's Jacob. He's why Hurley went back the island.
Jacob's definitely not dead.
About Hurley's curse. Jacob suggests that he's actually blessed. Hmm.
Ah, there's the guitar.
DHARMA time.
Operation Blow Up The Swan begins Phase II.
Nothing can save me. Aww... I really want to give Sayid a hug.
Jack running around with the bomb in his pack, just like in season one running around with the dynamite in his pack.
Sawyer: still pissed.
2007. Nightfall.
Richard vs Locke.
Sun asks an Excellent Question. And she's able to see through Ben's lies. Heh. Or Ben just doesn't expect anyone to believe him even though he really doesn't know about what happened to the statue.
Entering The Foot. OMGOMGOMG!!!!!
Things will change once he's gone. Paralleling Operation Blow Up The Swan.
I'm starting to think that killing Jacob is a Really Bad Thing and Locke is possessed by the Smoke Monster or something.

I'm wondering if Jacob somehow set this up, and wants to be killed; maybe it will free him? Or maybe he can't be killed? I don't think he'll be killed if he doesn't want to be.
Gunfight at the Dharma Corral!

And Miles puts my theory out there.
And it percolates through.. but nobody cares..
HAH! "Live together, die alone"
Sneak, sneak, sneak...
well, that was stealthy while it lasted.
And he has his own backup!
ACTION ACTION ACTION!!! TOO MUCH TO DESCRIBE!
And he's gonna drop a nuke down the shaft...
I would suggest backing away now
Oh, they expect to die. Okay, they decided it was a suicide mission.
They just expected the timeline to undo itself?
and the magnetic effects the swan is noted for kick it into high gear. SHIT! Chang's meat arm!
Phil dead
