I like the whole tour of hell thing this ep has going. Lilah bringing Wesley the Dante Inferno. But she's wrong about him, he never was a traitor. Only the three traitors get ate btw, most of them are frozen. So then there's Connor's view of LA. Whole lack of demons, still a hell, as Angel notices. And there's levels and height and the way he got in by jumping down. Is well done.
The dimensional specialist who can't stay still had great hair. Very shiny. Also great clothes.
Still the continuity problem though. In the recaps and the previous episode and this ep they keep treating that big symbol on the floor like it was an attempt to rip into the quor toth. Gunn says it was a dark attempt to open a portal. But the magic was what the girl handed Angel in the White Room: "Now, your demon made flesh. Big ritual, it's all here." *Not* a portal magic, nothing to do with quortoth, just recorporealising Sahjahn. It bothers me that they seem to have retconned that, or possibly writ it wrong in the first place.
Connor's fight double is awesome.
Connor going from full on killing machine aimed at Angel to walking away at the end, that was well done. Seeing all the ways Angel doesn't act, and what he does. The moment Angel runs straight out into the sun after his son was a great one, though I think it would have worked stronger if he'd started at least smoking. And then the shotgun and the red. Even knowing it won't kill him, that was painful. So Connor sees Angel, sees he's more than just a killer.
And goes back to his dad.
