Wow, y'all get up all at once, don'tcha? XD BIG time BtVS fan, yes, not AS much with AtS (I want to know what the writers were smoking through most of series four on that one) though I love it, too. Firefly's always going to be a favourite, Dollhouse is my new lovah, as far as TV goes (what with Kripke making me want to punch kittens - and him - every time I watch Supernatural, as much as I might love the show in a general sense). I saw y'all had Life on Mars when that was airing! Happymaking. John Simm in anything is worth watching. *nods* *continues rambling for a few more minutes, but it's not important, so we'll cut to--* ANYWAY, I'm technically not in Ithaca yet (though my contacts say it has not, in fact, snowed yet this fall), I'm still in Arizona, but as we're packing up the apartment and shipping out with a U-Haul TOMORROW, I figured it was true enough to put down. XD Welcome Avrilys! You're leaving Arizona? But... but... You're going to miss being able to carry a concealed weapon into a bar! Oh well, I'm sure upstate New York will have it's compensations. ;D

Oh well, I'm sure upstate New York will have it's compensations. ;D It does! Like being able to go get married to my wifey-poo in Boston and have the state I live in recognize the marriage! And being a couple hours' drive away from the City! And seeing as how I HAVE no concealed weapons to carry into bars, I think it's all good on that front. XD

So, if I'm the evil-est person on the board (and I am!), then does that make me God? Keep this line of posting up and we'll be forced to move it to the OT thread. (kidding .... mostly) Hee! In the context of the show, the demons would say that God is more evil than Satan .... Hmmm...who is more evil than God? Probably the writers. Which fits Erin to a t. ;D ETA: If pressed, I would have to agree that the unsupervised angels that manipulated the apocalypse are the most evil - so - Michael the Archangel would be at the top of that list. Dean is supposed to be his vessel. So if Jan is in Dean, and Lola is in Sam (who is slated to be Satan's vessel, eventually).... Where does that leave Monnie and Spring? ooo..puppy pile!

(kidding .... mostly) Where are you and how long are you staying there and when and where are you going next? If you know. Hee! Well, I'm home home until my viva is scheduled (god knows when that'll be). Other than that, doing job applications and hanging out in my jammies. I'm sending out two: University of Salford and Middlebury College in Vermont.

I lived there for exactly 7 days: age nothing to age 7 days. That was enough for me. I think you're making the right choice...

See, Karen, you can't assume too much on the minion front. Anne gave me PRETTY KISSING LESBIANS (my favourite ship on the show, actually, despite the fact that I write and ACTIVELY ship other ships more). I think there should be naked wrestling. In jello. Diane, I'm SURE you'll get a minion someday! Why, as my loyalties are still flexible as a well-trained Slayer at the moment, you may even be able to tempt me! Me? Digging for more pretty pretty pictures? Whyever would y'all think that? ^_^So I've failed on all grown-up counts. However, I have slept, and once I've imbibed enough caffeine to function again, I will go to the DMV and then to Midas, and then come back and actually... pack. AJ's been doing it all so far, and I feel bad. On the other hand, I'm going to be driving us and a trailer to New York with no assistance from her (she can't drive without freaking out). So I figure it's sorta fair? AUGH WE WILL NEVER BE READY IN TIME AUUUUGH. *flails around* Well, would it in any way be tempting if I mentioned that even though I now live in Houston, I'm a native New Yorker? Diane *experimenting in the temptation front*

Or Bobby? Naaaah. Lola is totally Satan, evil little temptress that she is. ;D Bobby? The one who shows up to be the voice of reason, wears a baseball hat, and is generally awesome in every way? No, clearly that's me. Ha! Perfect!! Who would be Carver Edlund, I wonder?

Keep this line of posting up and we'll be forced to move it to the OT thread. (kidding .... mostly) Hee! In the context of the show, the demons would say that God is more evil than Satan .... Well, yeah . . . but they're demons. LOL! Definitely you have found the answer: The writers are the most evil - perfect for Erin. Well, Sue is probably right that serious discussion should move to the Other Topics thread if we wander into theology in general, so I'm addressing not my views here, or how I think it should be or anything like that . . . this is just the way I'm reading SPN: With the not-vague disclaimer that I've only seen maybe 6 eps of this show all together, my impression is strongly that Lucifer/Satan is absolutely the most Evil. I think the portrayal on SPN of Lucifer (IMO, meant to be pure Evil) is really well done - hearkening back to that famous quote from "The Usual Suspects": The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.Definitely we have characters who are susceptible to temptation and are gray - don't purely serve Evil or Good - but it seems to me that God = Good, Satan = Evil, and part of what we're seeing is how easy it can be to feel screwed up about that, etc. Satan doesn't seem that bad, God doesn't seem that good . . . but I think that's sort of the point - the "seeming" I mean. The viewer gets to experience the confusion of it all, how difficult it is to understand what is right and good, and to have Faith, in this confusing world of pain and temptation and "dens of iniquity," etc. We'll have to see how it all plays out, but that's how it seems to shape up, for me. AGAIN: I'm not trying to discuss general theology, or give an opinion on whether SPN has this right, or wrong. Just giving my opinion on how I think SPN is portraying Good and Evil. Oh - of course, much as I hate to say it, Jan must be Dean. I mean " Jan & Dean!" It's not only perfect, it's age-appropriate for Jan, who must be over DX by now.

Hope everyone is well. Any good news I've missed?
Had to drop by to post this before the afternoon Buckeye's game:
I caught Glee this week. You know, the show set in wonderful Lima OH. This week the Gleeks are worried about being "Lima Losers". Know that Michelle and Spring can identify with this in our creepy loser hotel clerk of our memorable Buckeye/Wolverine game meet up in that locale. (Can;t believe that is going 3 years ago that I got to meet my first S'cubies in person!)

Did you see the pictures of Rachael's baby girl, Emily? ===============
Thanks, Sue. No, I didn;t. Where are they? I didn;t see in the Photo Album thread.
Contrats to Rachael and the new arrival.
