Wow indeed. And I found it interesting that the color of the cloth is the natural color of the spider silk.

Spiders that big are one of the things that make my skin crawl. I can handle little spiders, but ones that take up my whole palm... *shudders*

What's wrong, chica? Nothing, everything, and all else in between. Just in a funk really. Fighting chocolate cravings like mad, and body aches which have better days and worse days. Ah, a funk. And not the good kind, as in, "play that funky music, white boy." Been there. I'm a frequent flyer, in fact.

*Puts on gamemom face.* *Presents Bored!Matthew with a list of chores. A long list. A very, very long list...* You go, girl! It's impossible to be bored when there's a Good Mom in the house. If only he could do some of my real-world chores... Alas, it is not to be. Back to work. ETA: And the daughters' birthday wrapping is complete. Their birthday bucks (they prefer cash, especially Kitty, whom I suspect of going Gollum over her money) are each wrapped in a hell bank note and placed in a nifty trick wallet. In addition, I got Kitty a Dracula ducky and Emily a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne, just so they'd have something fun and unexpected. Emily's going to be 21 on Sunday, but she doesn't drink and doesn't like the taste and doesn't wanna anyway. That's her choice, and I respect it, but there has to be some sort of recognition of the big year. What's next, what's next? So many chores, so little me...

PILs are gone! A day early, to visit friends! Woot!
They really do mean well. And they started Emily a college fund. Or, rather, gave me money for her with which I will start a college fund.

Speaking of NCIS:
CBS DOMINATES TUESDAY FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
CBS Wins Every Half Hour in Viewers and Five of Six in Adults 18-49
"NCIS" Soars to Another Series High Viewer Delivery-20.65 Million Viewers
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Wins Time Period in Viewer and Demos Retaining 93% of Its Premiere Week Deliveries
"The Good Wife" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Demos Retaining Nearly all of Its Premiere Week Viewer Delivery and 100% of Its Adult 18-49 Rating
CBS dominated Tuesday for the second straight week, winning every half hour in viewers and five of six in adults 18-49 paced by NCIS which soared to another record audience-20.65 million viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 29.
NCIS won its time slot in households (12.5/20), viewers (20.65m), adults 25-54 (6.2/16) and adults 18-49 (4.6/13). This is a series high for NCIS in viewers.
NCIS clearly draws people who watch TV in realtime and on a television set. I'm not saying we are dinosaurs....................(at least, not all of us).

Lovely all around. Julia, having written none of what I intended, but gotten megalaundry washed, and a certain amount of misery dispelled

I can handle little spiders, but ones that take up my whole palm... *shudders* Actually, I'm not afraid of spiders. Will run screaming from the room if there's a roach, but spiders, not so much. Not that I don't have a healthy respect for the venomous ones, I do and will keep well away if I see one. But across the board, the larger spiders (at least in the U.S.) are generally less dangerous and less likely to be truly venomous (Yes, I know this is a sweeping generalization).
