Madeline / November / Mellie – oooooh! But I can’t help remembering that she was a sleeper Doll . . . Is she really acting on her own, or is this another layer of imprinting for some reason?
She’s being used. “You miss my point. She’s being used against
me.”
Aha!! The wife! We all wondered if there was something up with her!
Ha! “Oh, please. She didn’t kill you.”
What I want to know is, how did the senator get the pictures? How were they leaked, and by who?
Nice bit of mid-direction/suspense building, with the phone ringing and we’re afraid it will be a call to activate the wife to try and kill Madeline.
“This is the same tech that turned Echo into a serial killer.”
“We said we wouldn’t dwell on that. He’s dwelling!”
Love how no one ever gets his comments.
“No one ever really leaves here, do they?” Oh, Paul. Like you expected anything different?
Ah! Blackmail.
Mmmmmmmm. Nearly nekkid Alexis . . .
It’s kind of fun, in a twisted way, watching him try to convince Echo that she is what she really is.
“I can save you. I can save all of you.” Ah, noble.
“Senator - no offense, but if you want to do the right thing? Bringing your hooker mistress to your wife, probably isn’t a great idea. Just sayin’.”
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!
He’s the doll?! OMG!!!
Well, their little plan is all just going to hell in a way that I
totally didn’t expect!
Oh, pretty pretty Alexis D! So, they just turned him into what they wanted him to be, rather than what he was wanting to be?
Woo hoo! Go you, Paul, with your mad fighting skillz!
“Hey, you don’t want me dead. Wow. I feel like we’re really bonding.” ;D
I love how everyone sort of realizes Adelle is someone to (sort of) trust.” Also? How Echo keeps knowing his wife is “not right”, no matter what state of mind she’s in. Because she recognizes a handler?
Ha! Excellent! The super stupid treacle-y phrase they keep using with each other is actually his Dollhouse imprinting lingo! And now he knows it.
Nice editing of Echo’s memories with the fighting, so we see where each piece is coming from. “You just woke up a lot of people.”
I think her bad guys are badder than my bad guys. Perfect summing up, that is.
“I’m not Mellie.” Oh, Paul.
If she’s free, she gets to make mistakes. Of course, now he knows that she’s not really free.
Damn! The wife got them again! Crap crap crap!
It really is a rather interesting and beautifully convoluted “hide in plain sight” plan. Throw your too-troublesomely-rebellious Dollhouse under the bus, so to speak, letting people think that the whole problem is now taken care of and that Rossum had nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, you actually control a politician that would appear to be exempt from scrutiny, since he brought it all up.
Summer!! **squee**
“Keep your mind on your work. Please. The moment you start wondering about the people upstairs, they’ll start wondering about you.”
Her little speech about urges and the human is
very interesting and, dare I say it, very Adelle-like. Hmmmm. Or should I perhaps also say, quite a bit like Dr Saunders too? Hmmmmm! And just a little bit crazy as well. A perfect Summer Glau character, in other words. So, is she doing the Adelle job or the Dr Saunder job or the Topher job?
This Dollhouse is scrambling to survive, just like the L.A. branch, isn’t it?
“She’s God, honey. And you’ve heartily offended her.” Ha!
The Summer character is seriously messed up, isn’t she? “Caroline. You always promised you’d come back to me.” Eeeeeeeeep!! “Let’s play.” EEEEEEeeeeep! Yeah,
seriously messed up!!
