A shell, (oh, so very Joss), just pain. Summer, you do scary so very very well.
“I don’t want to forget who I am.”
“Oh, baby. You don’t want to remember who you were.”
This seems like a common theme for the people that end up in the Dollhouse, yes?
“You see, that righteous indignation? Yeah, we gave that to ya too.”
Oh, ouch!
Man. This handler really really hates the roles she’s had to play, doesn’t she? Yep. And loves telling him about it, knowing it’ll be wiped.
“I would suggest you expand your comfort zone immediately.” I kinda love Adelle when she gets all toppy. **is slightly ashamed, yet also tingly**
So, was the Summer character at the LA Dollhouse when Alpha when all slasher? Did Echo help and hurt her? Or was it another job? Or . . . ?
Ah, so
this guy is actually the Adelle role at this house. Ah, watching them play games against each other. Is it the houses fighting against each other or the higher ups running the show, or pitting them against each other, or . . . ?
OMG! Victor implanted with Topher. Heeeeeeeeeeeeee!! “I suffer from acute agoraphobia. Or at least I plan to!” Heee! And he admires and is afraid of and impressed by Summer. Heee!
And then they each turn out to be more awkward and inappropriate than the other. “Your skin is like a pig.” ;D
The two heads of Dollhouses are dueling with each other and so are the two scientists. And then Adelle stops playing around. Whoa!
“I’m concerned that you may have just tried to tase me.”
Oh, Topher, sometimes you just cut right to the chase, sometimes without even knowing the full extent of how right you are. “Let mommy and daddy do the squabbling.”
“Glasses on a chain!”
“For the win!” ;D
Only Topher would see nothing odd about squeeing and babbling about a woman to, basically, himself.
“Imagine John Cassavetes in The Fury as a hot chick.”
“Which you know I often have!”
(Also? Once again the actor playing Victor proves to be so awesome as to out-awesome anyone else. Him playing Topher’s mind inside him and talking to the actual Topher? Amazing!)
What. The. Hell. Is going on with the Summer character?!?!
Oh! Faking that they hurt her and escaped! Is she trying to get them both killed, or . . . ?
What is the history between them? Was she working with Caroline to try and find out more about Rossum, sabotaging them and then Bennet got hurt and started working for them, or . . . Or what? Guess I should just let the story show itself to me, right?
“We haven’t escaped. They’re coming, they always come.” Is . . . is Bennet part of the group that was using/helping Caroline-Echo learn about and bring down the Dollhouse from within, but things went wrong and . . . **stops self** Keep watching and see what happens, woman!
Whoa. They’re gonna cut out their own GPS thingees? Eeep!
Whatever Bennet’s game is, she’s hiding it from her own people, her own house. I think.
“I’ll remind you of that when we’re bunk buddies in the attic.” Ha! Good one, spineless smooth-talker guy.
Hmmmm. Now modifying the disruptor to do its thing at a distance. We’re moving closer and closer to the “mass mind-control over the phone” future, aren’t we?
Adelle and Topher are still working their plan, aren’t they? As is Bennet. He’s madly texting his other self with instructions, she’s downloading assassins and puppies. Oy! Oy!!
“They didn’t create me, only parts of me. How can I ever untangle it?”
That really is a very creepy/scary thing to think about, isn’t it?
Who is playing who? Who is running what plan against who? God, I love how twisty this is!!
What did you do? She downloaded an assassin. But she didn’t get to download the puppies. So, she’s sending an assassin to kill herself (or at least part of herself) inside Echo/Caroline, basically.
Oh, nice! Don’t have to be what they tell you, including the fact that you mind is just thinking your arm is useless – it’s not really!
“This isn’t about Caroline, this is about Echo.”
“They’re the same.”
Ah, but that’s exactly what we’ve been learning – they’re not, really. They are, and they’re not.
“Who’s your back door man.”
“I’ll just pretend I didn’t say that.”
What the hell?! How did they get him to give the party line they were wanting to give before?! Did they imprint him again?
Poor Madeline.
Building a president . . .
So, crazy-pants Bennet has Madeline and Echo is just wandering around?
