I'm sure everyone else would be very relieved if this happened. It seems like the different people inside him don't coexist in nearly as harmonious a way as Echo's do, though. It's long seemed to me like somehow having them all inside of him fractured or broke his brain (I imagine it didn't help that he started out [pre-Active] as someone who'd done, what was it, assaults or murder? I can't remember which one any more). It's interesting too that Echo expressed in these episodes that she's not sure she's a fan of who she was before she became Echo; somehow she seems so much better able (so far at least) to separate out her pre-Active self (of Caroline) from her new self-identity (of Echo) than Alpha. Yes, I agree. It's a very Angel/Spike conundrum. William when turned kept a lot of his best human characteristics. Liam's worst surfaced. Why? Was it their 'handler's' fault? The timeless nature vs nurture debate. Similar circumstances and different people react differently -- one becomes Ghandi and another becomes Attila the Hun (exaggerated examples, of course). And it seems that both nature and nuture are totally intertwined in producing the final product.

Oh, so many classic Joss bits in here. “I could never love you” as she smashes him. The discovery that Angel’s soul has returned Paul is inside him, just when she’s about to strike a killing blow. “Do you trust me?” “With my life!” “Then end mine.” Ah, the tasty tasty angst, like bitter honey! Wonderful, astute observation.

Arizona?
This guy was a client who went for broke?
Love for a woman who doesn't exist. That's my sad story.
Alpha! Oh yeah, Alpha's been at large this whole time. I had totally forgotten about him. I hope he didn't do anything to Whiskey/Claire.
Echo in isolation.
Freud, madonna whore complex, Adelle's love hate relationship with Echo. Victor/Gholson hits the nail on the head.
Brain science is all about hardware and software, there's no mystical in between. Hmm...
Drawing Topher into the conspiracy.
Only a little bit serial killer. Hee!
I'm obsolete! This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster. Snerk.
Whoa. That's probably not the way this engagement was supposed to go. Ah, this must be Alpha's doing. -Yep.
This guy again. Who I don't exactly remember.
You can't ever delete a program.
Topher tempting fate. Yep, there he is.
A couple hundred dolls!? How do they name them after they use up the NATO alphabet?
Activating all the dolls as zombie ninja warriors. Alpha gets his revenge. I think. Is this about revenge or is something else going on?
Alpha's trying to understand love in a dissect a person to see how they work sort of way.
Alpha imprinted Ballard onto himself. Diabolical. And he killed Ballard. Whoa.
OK, Ballard's just *mostly* dead. But probably not going to be talking anytime soon.
Hmm, parallels between Alpha and Echo and Nolan and Sierra.
The things we do for love.
