You mean to say that Buffy has allowed a new Watchers Council under Rupert Giles to develop and take control of the Slayers during the post-"Chosen" era? Are there any female Watchers? Or has Giles only hired men?

Or has Giles only hired men? I assume this refers to something that has happened in the comics? I haven't been following those, but I can imagine there might be a continuing need for a group that provided structure and guidance to the Slayers . . . though I would hope without the old patronizing, dictatorial ways. There were female watchers in the former Council, so I imagine there would still be . . . and I would expect a new, enlightened Council to include Slayers as "voting members" in their governance structure, when it came to coming up with the structure and policies and what-not. If this is indeed a happening in the comic books, then it will be interesting for readers to see where it goes. ALSO: We do have some comic book discussion over in the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" thread . . . it's on the second page, I think. It hasn't been particularly active, but that's where comic book threads are.

But without further clarification I have no clue what the post is about. It reads as if it is a reply to a previous discussion but
