Why do I think this episode title means someone will be experiencing anything but a happy ending?

Tak about your fathers-in-law from hell.
Oh yeah, the Benjamin shot.

Heh, beating him with a convenient bracket...
Angstrom the bunny..
and someone turns the machine back on wiht someone in it. great. this is why I holler at people I'm working with before I switch on any tripped breakers.

Brotha! OK, Widmore. Make your case and see if Desmond will believe. "I can't imagine what you must be feeling." Uh, I'm thinking homicidal rage would be a good guess. "The island isn't done with you yet!" Well, you told him. I think you're gonna regret not telling Jin what the hell you're doing. More bunny experiments? So, they're playing with time again? Ooops. That wasn't a bunny. And Desmond isn't a bunny either! Eeeep!

Desmond, Desmond, Desmond. You are soooooooooo screwed.
Ooooky music. Oh.......that was good. The little lip snarl and then the freak out.
It's all so......Initiativey. "A little test." Yeah, right.
Angstrom. Oh, not the bunny! The ångström is often used in the natural sciences for expressing the sizes of atoms, lengths of chemical bonds and the wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation, and in technology for the dimensions of parts of integrated circuits. It is also commonly applied in structural biology.
Hmmm.....time travel machine?

So what the hell kind of sacrifice is widmore going to ask him for?
I hope it's a a robust machine.

They're expecting that Desmond won't get nuked 'cuz of his time-traveling constant ability? And what's the additional sacrifice he's asking for? Hmmm. The whole "everyone will be gone" thing again. Only one to survive the big magno-thingy, so let's do it again. Yeah. That sounds good. Or not. Is this sideways flash AU Desmond? Or magically sent to the AU by magno-stuff Desmond? And who's his boss? Widmore? Yep!

That's what I was thinking, but I guess it could also be just preparation for a later event, or maybe a sideways AU machine or . . . . ?

So Farraday is alive, then?
And mathematics and music are so closely related.. we get more charlie and desmond interaction!
And it looks as if Desmond's gonna have to jack-slap him.
Yeah, if you've answered "thousands of times" then you haven't been in that kind of glorious love at all.
And Charlie has a vision of.. Claire?
"There's always a choice, brother"
And Charlie's horrible song on the radio.
And Charlie's seen "Fight Club" too recently, silly bastard.
is he doomed to have charlie die on him like this?
Ohmygod the chills when he does the hand against the glass.

OMG, Desmond is being connected up with Charlie?! That. Is. Awesome!!! Death-wish much, Charlie? "Are you happy?" And he's not, not really, because of no Penny, eh? Saw this woman and "knew her". Saw Claire, perhaps? "It's always a choice, brother." Heeee! This really is a return to season one memories. **rocks out to 'you all, everybody' la la la** Ah, recreating your drowning death from the island-verse, are you Charlie? OH!!! OMG!!! The hand!! And Desmond sees the note!!!!!!!! Oh, that was awesomely done!
