Two great things that taste great together!' Julia, thanks to Metafilter Julia - that is PERFECT! They do go well together! btw, has anybody noticed that Tim Minear is an Exec Producer along with Shawn ? on Chicago Code? And, TVGuide has a list of potential pilots (there are 81! listed) but the names SMG, Alan Tudyk and David Greenwalt all appear. SMG's show blurb makes no sense but at least is not derivative. And she does have Nestor Carbonell and Ioan Gruffeld (?) with her. Oh, also the BSG guy has a new sci-fi-ish show casting several BSG alum.

Julia, thanks, I needed that, and Kitty's going to have to see it, too, when she crawls out of bed. We do need to get back to watching BtVS, one of these years... Erin, and thanks for the good thoughts. Spring, congratulations on the departure of the Baldwin. S'cubies, ETA: Julia, Katherine thanks you and says she's going to pass it on to a few friends.

The Saga of the Old BaldwinChapter 21The Baldwin has departed! A crew of 6 able-bodied males removed it from my home with minimal damage to home or Baldwin. As they heaved and hoisted, one remarked that he believed his burden to weigh more than 700 lbs - and that may very well have been. The young lady, C____, is a pretty single lady. Spouses who viewed the piano found their desires derailed by their better halves. Single males and the one married male whose wife acquiesced, found themselves unable to assemble a large enough group of aids. But it is apparently easy for pretty single ladies to get their way and assemble crews of men. The piano sat right outside my bedroom door for many a year, and it was the object of many an interesting late night conversation between me and my piano-playing son. My feelings are mixed, upon viewing the now empty room which the piano inhabited for so very long. But I know I wish the lovely Miss C____ well, and many, many happy years with Vincent's piano. Great news!!!!!!!!!! *dorky dance of the joyful variety*

OMG, the Glee ep tonight? AWE-SOME!!! I will most likely watch it tonight. I was WAY behind on my Glee-watching, but I watched several back-to-back last night because I knew the one that aired last night was supposed to be a good one and I wanted to be caught up. As inconsistent as that show is, I do get a lot of enjoyment out of it. The ep where Mr. Shu and the football coach went to the honky tonk? Hysterical!! You could just tell they had fun doing that.

I am always amazed when I read negative comments about Buffy on MF, though. I'm like, WTF? Yeah; the first time I was linked to "She Don't Like Firefly" came from that thread, too. Metafilter comments are like the rest of the Web in one thing: people who don't like something (see: The Decemberists, Buffy, Obama (criticism from the left), Mad Men) tend to be really vocal and repetitive. Julia, if Joss and RTD and Michael Weiner ever cooperate on a biography of Obama with soundtrack by the Decemberists it would be a perfect storm...
