Here's a place to post your ideas on a possible virtual S'cubiefest.
Things like best time for everyone (or most everyone), Buffy viewing episode(s), etc.
I hope we can make this happen!

Karen -
We'll make it happen even if it's just you and me!
So, I'm going to guess work hours are out for a lot of folks.
Right after work in central time is about 4 on the west coast. I think Julia, Anne and Rachael will need to tell us what time works for them. Late afternoon/dinner can be a problem sometimes.
For me anytime between noon and 10 pm central will work on most days.
I'll suggest we leave out Friday -Sunday because posting is generally so slow on those days.
On the other hand, the work issue would go away if we all set aside one weekend day in the future. But if that is a problem for folks with a lot of other people at home then no.
So, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday?
4-7 C 5-8 C 6- 9 Central 7 - 10 central 8-11 central
What works for anybody else who is interested?
I think we DO need to send out IMs or even emails to the regulars and especially the semi-regular drop ins cause those are the folks we are trying to corral.

The best time for me is 6-8pm Pacific time Tue-Fri although in truth any time after 10am Pacific, any week day but Monday works for me. Probably. In general. I can't predict other than that ahead of time, as my days are contingent upon the plans of others, including domesticated animals. Every other Friday Franklin has off work; every other Wednesday so does my helpful hand. I'm not helping, am I? Julia, not in a helpful mood, probably.

I like Karen's idea of watching a Buffy ep together and posting our thoughts and comments as a way to get us going . . . As far as time goes . . . the later in the evening, the better. I like the idea of a three hour stretch - the Buffy viewing could happen in the 2nd hour, maybe . . . an hour for chit-chat/arrivals, and hour or so for watching and commenting, and hour for wrap-up and "departures." We should IM, and those of us on Facebook could msg that way . . . We need a list of "invitees" and then us "regulars" can split the list up to notify the "less regulars." Maybe we could do something like make the whole day "S'cubiefest day" with "special events" like the Buffy viewing at particular times. Then even if someone couldn't make it to the "main event" they could still feel welcome to drop in.

Sounds like a fun idea!
Timing for me is best either evenings during the week (like 7 - 11 central time) or weekends. Internetting during the work day is not so much of the possible for me anymore.
Some time for gathering and chatting and then watching something together would be a fun!
Oooh! We could plan a particular drink or eat that we're having! Either plan an imaginary menu for the party or else actually all make / get one thing that we're all going to be enjoying at the same time!

I'm good Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 6-10PM Central. Weekends are Bobtime and Thursday is Project Runway so the BFF is over.

I think this is a great idea. But don't bother planning around me, cause I have no idea what my schedule is.
