Looking forward to the next installment! And Plan B.
Jenny/The First: Hmm. You think you can fight me? I'm not a demon, little girl. I am something that you can't even conceive. The First Evil. Beyond sin, beyond death. I am the thing the darkness fears. You'll never see me, but I am everywhere. Every being, every thought, every drop of hate.
BUFFY: (loses her patience) Alright, I get it. You're evil. Do we have to chat about it all day?

So...this season definitely had a American cable like quality rather than a British TV one, which kind of threw me at the beginning. Also I don't really like Mekhi Phifer. Nor did Bill Pullman's character do anything for me. I did love Lauren Ambrose, as well as Nana Visitor, John De Lancie, Dichen Lachman popping by for bit parts. Thematically it really sucked me in as time went on, as it touches on Right to Die. The idea of people dying but never actually dead is a great metaphor for those resuscitated and in intensive care, the ultimate "triumph" of modern medicine; I really liked the critique of medicine and medico-legal issues that were raised.
Leto II: We're about to go through the crucible, but we'll come out the other side. We always arise from our own ashes. Everything returns later in its... changed form.
