Welcome to Part 1133 of the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread. We always seek to adapt to the times...
That being said, some things never change. Including our request to have you please put spoilers in the Spoiled Souls; if you want to talk on the main thread about a show just aired or casting news, etc, just highlight what you've written click the ghost-y looking button above the message area...
The world changes daily. We like to talk about it. But some topics are a bit more "sensitive" than others, so if you'd like to talk politics or religion or other "controversial" subjects, we've got the Open Topics Thread!
So, turn and face the strange changes, and post away!

Thanks for the fun opener and new part, Erin. MONNIE! VT leaf-peeping and Niagara Falls NEXT FALL!! Say yes!! ALSO: Sorry about SPN. They are making Castiel evuuuul and not a regular anymore? Even I know this is muy estupido! Am going to go read article. RACHAEL: Great news on the new lab. You are doing soooo great, it just puts a smile on my face to hear about it. DIANE: Congrats on the new bed, but I am not understanding your reason. I mean . . . surely Bob is sleeping on the couch . . . EVERYONE: Sorry but the skimming I did is already leaving my head, as have any other comments I meant to make. I do try to read over everyone's comments enough to keep up on the ups and downs of The Days of Our Lives. School going OK for the girls - little one's reading really improving! I like that.

Ooooh. I took the firing at face value, but I like your theory so much more. Mrs. Frederic has to know Sally thought she made a connection with Jinks, so it makes total sense they'd try this sort of gambit. Me gusta. It was all so behind-the-scenes, there has to be more going on than we were shown. At least I hope so. Oooooo...Love the theories. I hope you guys are right, because I like Jinks! And it all makes perfect sense, because of Sally's duplicity, that they would use that same theme and turn the tables on them.

MONNIE: I read the article. The writer seems to think there is hope for the Castiel character . . . but you seem convinced otherwise. What do you know that she doesn't? Or what are you interpreting differently, do you think? Or is it more that you're just disgusted by the turn of events, and don't have it in you to keep watching on flimsy hope alone?

Wait, I thought sure I'd checked this thread yesterday evening?
Busy, busy, busy: hired hand yesterday, Sam today, must find a new shower enclosure and all that jazz.
Add "kitten toy" to the manifold uses of zip ties: Stewie has somehow gotten hold of a package of 14 inch ones and is chasing them all over the floor. He is suddenly at least as big as Lana, if not slightly larger. Oh, dear.
Julia, small cute babies grow up so fast.

Today I have: Walked to the bank/market. Done a load of towels. Also looked up what SCE considers "peak hours", and found, to my annoyance, that they start at 10AM. How the am I supposed to get five to six loads of wash done (that's standard, sometimes there's even more) before 10AM, you asshats? Start at 2? Idiots. Run assorted errands including a run to the library for the second day in a row, because of course the rest of my holds all came in last night after I'd been there. If I'd waited, they wouldn't have come in until tonight, of course. There was also some confusion because some library nitwit had filed one of my books under my middle name. Such is the way of the universe... Stuck celestial paper on two more library drawers and redid part of the first one because I wasn't happy with the initial result. Yes, I know, I was going to get something different. I still am, but after much consideration yesterday, I concluded that while the celestial pattern won't work on the three drawers in the little white shelf unit, it looks just fine on the two (three if I can fit the special punches into one of them) in the built-in shelves on the east wall of the atelier. So that's done, and once they dry I can put everything back in and be content. It doesn't take much to make me content. Doesn't last long, unfortunately, but still, I'll take what I can get these days. I'm still going to Art Supply Warehouse on Saturday. I'll take any excuse to buy more fancy papers, and I can use them for the annual Winter Solstice/Hanukkah hand-made journals for my cousin and her husband, anyway. All two little books... Besides, it's a new month, and The Husband hasn't bought his monthly ration of pens yet. So there, life.

Okay. I'm due. Officially due. And no movement on that front. There's a whole person in there, and he won't come out!
Fine. He's not late until tomorrow. But it's so very uncomfortable having him stay in there! The three hour blocks of sleep I'll get once he's out are gonna be preferable to the one-hour blocks I'm getting NOW. Have you tried rolling over with a probably-7-pound-human inside you? Hurts like hell.
Okay. Just...wanna be done, is all.
