DVR is being all funky, so I'm not gonna comment on each outfit (not really able to do the pause and rewind and FF and so on). Frees me up to just watch and enjoy, yes? Yes! Hell, yes! ;D Not sure if most of the designers are 'getting' the avant garde direction of their clothing. Some of the kids are like - 'wtf'...hehe, but being subtle about it.

I am rather happily surprised by this runway show. Some really cool outfits. Not boring!

Love the bird dress. The Star Trek type dress - with the green blocks was cool.
Love the flowy white/blue dress. I would wear that.
Hmm...the orange/brown dress that was supposed to mimic the tree art was a little too something off for me.
Didn't like the pant outfit with the triangles on it. Looked clownish.
Love the feathery white and blue dress.
The orange/white dress was well done. Looked like brush strokes, the way the fabric was layered.
Hmm...the straightjacket dress was a bit freaky.
I liked the vampire dress. Good idea to shorten it.
Really liked the filmy dress with the slashy fabric.
The feather dress with the billowy dress was very original. I liked the fabric pattern.

Julia, Me, I got the laundry going and then dragooned the first daughter to crawl out of bed into taking it from there. All one load that was left. Then I went back to bed for a while. This is going to be a non-productive day.

Wow. I actually got screamed at during faculty meeting. By someone who I filed an official complaint against for trying to intimidate me into doing something unethical back in March. And then my faculty mentor screamed back at him. For the record, all I said to precipitate it was, "No, Brandon, there's nothing like 90% overlap between this course and the one you're actually NOT teaching anyway for the past two years." Sounds like a man with a death wish to me? Julia, progress has been made here today, which is a good thing I may actually have to say the words, "Hostile work environment you know about and are not fixing" to my chair and Faculty Affairs.

YOu still here? He must be waiting for Labor Day. You should tell him not to be so literal.

I'm sure he was just trying to do you a ginormous favor but getting you all riled up and stimulating labor. No?

I have a theory - Emily came on time because I was seeing an OB then, and they INSIST on internal exams. My midwives don't do them, so no rushing me that way. If so, then the fact that I see an OB today (the midwives couldn't fit me in) means I may go into labor in about three days. Or sooner, if they think induction is the way to go. I'd be totally on board with that right about now. Ugh.

This is going to be a non-productive day. I need to be all responsive and social but I got home from the market about ten minutes ago, had to catch the kittenss to get them to their appointment, and am just now eating lunch. And I haven't tended outside animals yet. Julia, so, vroom...

You are keeping a list, I know, because you are a woman of wisdom and experience, but for those people who may be lurking: this is the kind of stuff you keep memos of record of so that when the day comes to thwack the bastard, you've documented his ongoing bastardry. Julia, because he sounds as if he may be in need of thwacking one day.

I may be off for a couple of days, as we're getting new internet. Not that it would be noticeable, lately; I've been such an infrequent poster as of late. Still, letting you guys know.
Hugs to those that need it.
ETA: Oh, never mind. It's next weekend. Hugs still apply, though.
