Hello, people I should be talking to way more often! I just wondered if any of you have stumbled across the British TV series MISFITS? I've been watching it on Hulu and it's great! One of the actors, Robert Sheehan, has energy and humor that I haven't seen since JM. His character can be such a jerkwad and yet you love him and he also manages simultaneously to be sexy and dorky. Sadly it seems he won't be in the 3rd season of the show. Excuse me if you guys already have a thread for this show. I did a search but nothing came up. www.hulu.com/misfitsI know nothing about this show, but . Hope all is well with you.

Sorry to hear about the cold, Sara - I am also coming down with one. Sore throat and sniffle stage right now. Both the girls are sick as well. Well, Scubes - I think I will retiring at the end of the calendar year. It is kind of sad-making in some ways, but the crazy at work is unyielding, and the girls need more time and attention than I can give to them right now. Things are difficult for them with their case, and I think they will get worse before the get better. I recorded the SPN ep - hope to watch it tonight after the girls are in bed. Did anyone watch? It will be emotional, but what an exciting new chapter in your life! Congratulations on making the decision! I have watched the ep, and my comments are above. Would like to hear what you think! Thanks, Michelle, for the encouragement. I haven't had a chance to even watch the SPN ep yet!

I just went online and ordered flowers to be delivered Saturday for Aged Mum's birthday on Sunday. From the local florist. Normally I'd walk over there, but this week is already too busy, so I figured I'd try their website. The intertubes are strange and wonderful...

Holy fuck. Something meaty to chew on. *joins Sara in the corner of teary-eyed joy* Also: "Monday is the root of all evil."

The mind boggles, and just keeps on boggling... Julia, dumbstruck, and bumsmacked.

So, here we are, waiting for Much Ado to be available in toto, and I'm thinking about how it seems to be every thinking person's favorite Shakespeare comedy, and the Sam Waterston/Kathleen Widdoes version on television forty years ago, and the Branagh version, and all the ways it has systematically influenced RomComs down the ages and... this could be ultra cool, man, ultra ultra cool.
Like, arctic, man.
Julia, always suspected that Joss regretted being born way too late to be a beatnick. Pretty sure he idolizes Maynard G. Krebs as much as I do.
