**does a diva spin into the room** I'm gettin' my Liberace on! Do you like me better like this ... Or like this? <snipping fabulous> ;D ;D I'm just back from the opera - world premier of Silent Night. Excellent production!! Very moving libretto and I loved the music! What's all goin' on with you guys? *stands in salute!*

Or like this? <snipping fabulous> ;D ;D I'm just back from the opera - world premier of Silent Night. Excellent production!! Very moving libretto and I loved the music! What's all goin' on with you guys? *stands in salute!* This was the PERFECT part opener. I am SO in favor of getting our Liberace on! Remember, anything worth doing is worth OVERdoing. And I happen to be practicing my preachatude even as we speak. Yesterday Bob and I descended upon Renfaire. We did some costume uppage. He found an amzing pair of boots that will work with both his demon costume and the upcoming steampunk Scotsman he's working on: He bought the round-toe 9-button with the Triskelion design buttons. Then we visited The Frock Shop. We are bringing Bob's family next weekend so he bought a costume for his granddaughter Katherine. I was dressed as Paddie and the heat was about to bring me down despite all the water I was drinking. So about $300 later I was re-garbed in cool, comfy gauze. I am now Liberace-ing both costumes with lace, pearls, trim and hotfix crystals. Like I said, If it's worth doing--it's worth over-doing.

EVERTHING signed out yesterday, and I'd forgotten dreamwidth when I went around re-signing. I hates Comcast, I do I do. Julia, although it may have been my computer dumping cookies, except probably not.

#wavey# I went to sleep early. Got a couple hours, which experience suggests can let me be awake all day. But I got woke up by crying baby. There is no baby here. One of the neighbours had baby, and lots of adults making worry noise and shush noise, and so it was not anything requiring action. But there was baby in earshot, and that's it, I has awake again. I realise evolution has sound reasons for making crying baby impossible to ignore. But.
