Here be the very place to discuss the adventures of Richard Castle and Detective Kate Bennett.
In this thread, we only discuss those episodes which have already aired. NO SPOILERS ALLOWED! If you post a spoiler here, mark my words—we will hunt you down to the ends of the earth and ritualistically torture you, and . . . yeah, I can’t think of anything witty yet scathing and scary to say. Just know we will f**k your sh*t up. ‘Nuff said.

Well, since Erin was so kind as to set up a thread, I really ought to use it. All I can say, though, is that I really am enjoying the current season's balancing act between police procedural (which has never been the most important aspect of the show) and romantic comedy. NF and Stana Katic sparkle together, and he can do more with one eyebrow than a lot of actors can do with a whole speech. Also, whoever decided to give Castle a live-in mother and daughter was very good indeed; it adds a great deal of depth and humanity to his character.

And they are both so well cast and good actresses. Sometimes I wish they'd give his daughter more to do. (also, the writer's aren't always very consistent with her personality, but maybe that is okay with a teenage girl.)

We just watched the season finale. I may be the only S'cubie still watching, but damn, was that a cliffhanger ending. I was not expecting that, at all at all. Good thing ABC has already committed to another season.

We just watched the season finale. I may be the only S'cubie still watching, but damn, was that a cliffhanger ending. I was not expecting that, at all at all. Good thing ABC has already committed to another season. Actually, I enjoyed many of the season episodes and the fun but very normal relationships between Beckett and Castle -- that's the way it's done, people. But the last 2 eps of the season I found contrived and poorly written. Too over the top ridiculous and too quickly tied up -- and totally annoyed at the ending. I make a habit of often watching season finales even if I haven't watched the show all season. Comments on other finales (too vague to be spoilerish IMO but to be safe: Enjoyed The Good Wife and really enjoyed The Mentalist (although those who watch regularly may have found the ending forced or out of character.)
the other "couples show" that has had a few very good episodes this season was Bones. Yes, it's uneven but they had a few really good ones. Interesting cliff-hanger there, that's for sure.
Person Of Interest has had a truly fascinating evolution all season long.
Elementary finally got around to placing a character in "historical context" if you know what I mean.
Let me know if anything I've said is spoilerish.
