So!! I am in Columbus OH now. Moved in and started new job on Monday. Things are new and a bit overwhelming, but I know that I just have to stick it out and things will smooth out eventually. I have been told that it can take up to two years before someone as introverted as I am can feel comfortable in a new environment, so my running mantra has been "two years two years two years" whenever I want to go run and hide. Keep a good thought for me, S'cubes. Congrats on the successful moving and new job starting! You go with your sassy self!

You know how I'm in perpetual worry mode? Yeah, well, I have good reason. Phone rings at 5:55 AM, that's usually not a good thing. So, phone rings, I grab it, worrying about Aged Mum, and get staticky noises and thumping. I keep saying "Hello", and after what seems like several minutes, a voice responds. It's the Husband. He was calling from the 91/57 interchange; he'd got into a fender-bender. He thinks a tire blew. He says he's fine, but the car is pretty messed up. I don't know more than that yet, but he's going to call me again in a little bit, after he hears from the auto club. I did a fast shower and dress and got the wash going, so I'm ready to go down there and collect him if necessary. I think I can do without a car this week, if he drives me in the evening for Aged Mum (and our) shopping, but it's going to be awkward. Also, I am not going to believe he's okay until I see him, phone call or no phone call. Good vibes would be much appreciated. Scary! I'm glad he's OK!

OK here's our challenge - something inspired by the castle grounds and then one of the new make up collections (the color and the "muse": enchanted queen/black and berry; seductive temptress/gold and bordeaux; wise mystic/violets and blues; artsy/pastels and coral).
Oooooh!! And it's avant garde!! New and experimental!!
What shall we do?!

I think either the enchanted queen or the wise mystic.
Do we take inspiration from the castle or the gardens? Gardens and mystic - lots of greens and leafyness ....
So, how about a long column dress, made out of vines crawling up her body and trailing behind her .... maybe an extraordinary cool headdress thingy ... ?

I think we could make that work with the enchanted queen. Like maybe a deep berry dress with black accents? And maybe we bring in the castle with a very architectural silhouette?

Or maybe the Wise Woman of the Woods? I love all your takes on the show, even if I can't watch it with you.

Ooooooh, how about flying buttresses or arches for her shoulders? Or maybe a turret for a hat? In gold and white, like a crown but also like a tower?

How's everyone?
