Hot Chocolate with Bailey's on Christmas Eve. One of my favorite traditions.

Wow, what a day! The younger girl had her meltdown early in the day, slamming upstairs when she didn't get her way over something very minor, and claiming she would sleep in the closet the rest of the day. She made a little nest there. I let her stay in there until she got bored and came downstairs again and seemed better. The elder girl had her meltdown later in the day, also having a fit about not getting her way, and told me she was "running away." She grabbed her jacket and stormed out the door. She returned within five minutes and we talked it out OK. The holidays are extra hard on them, I think. Yowza! Well, time for bed. Merry Christmas, all.

S'cubies inexplicably depressed anne Having Sasha cuddled up at my feet is comforting and gives me a chuckle, since she lays flat on her back like a human.

Hey, Merry Christmas again; I got a camera with no spots on the lens and a nifty jacket and a reproduction of a 19th century Chicken Encyclopedia illustration, and now need to go out in the nasty, crunchy rain to feed the animals.
Julia, very like most Christmases, weatherwise.

Hey ho, all! Merry merry and whatnot! Sis and I did our new holiday traditions - fun day yesterday at the zoo and then she came over today for sandwiches and goodies, as well as the watching of one of her many Christmas Carol flics (the 1938 version, with Reginald Owen as Scrooge and Leo G Carroll as Marley's ghost), and then a rousing game of Life. Woot! All the best to all the S'cubies and their friends and families!

Merry Christmas everyone! I received the very special gift of getting sick as a dog on Christmas Eve—anyone know where I can exchange it?
