We have an hour and a half and no sewing is required. Sounds fun! How many pieces should we have? 5, maybe? 2 dresses, pants w/top, a long gown and then .... outerwear? Bathing suit? Wedding gown? And theme! We need a theme or color scheme!

Whee a trip to Mood to remake or beef up criticized garments. What? No surprise? No sudden need for an additional dress? Is Heidi asleep?

Well, unless Spring joins us it will be a verbal collection. what does everyone want to create? Me, I want to make a dark red long gown. Ok, how about this? Everyone that wants to play think about what you want to make and write a detailed description over the next hour and we'll post them and see how we did. Anybody's interest piqued? Is your creativity reaching the pique of expression? Can we peak at each other's ideas? No! If you are caught I shall have to S'pique to Erin!

Theme ... color ... theme ... color ... theme ... color
I'm in a mood for warm, woody tones. Rosewood, a bronzey oak, a dark golden alder, etc.
Then we could have a desert Sci-fi theme. Like a Dune-esque thing. I think it would work with the warm colors.

Here's my entry to the S'cubie Collection.
I have chosen a dark red long gown. My model is 5'10" and wears a size 6. She has dark hair, deeply tanned skin and brown eyes. Her hair is piled high on the top of her head. She is wearing long garnet earrings and carrying a black silk clutch accented with garnet-colored crystals.
The dress is a dark, dark red matte jersey, with a long, flowy skirt, slit on the side up to the thigh. The collar of the dress is high in the back, touching the base of the model's skull. Coming around to the front it tapers down to her collarbone and then drops in a straight line to her waist. The collar also spreads over her shoulders and drops to a point at shoulder blade level. It is encrusted with garnet colored crystals, twice the size of the ones on the clutch.
The back is bare from that point to just below the waist. The long skirt clings over the model's hips and drops to the point where the back of her shoes touch the very high heel. It moves gracefully as she walks.
EDIT: If we have to go with the sci fi theme, then she has a matching blaster set in a self-fabric holster that become part of the dress.

And I say you can have your own theme or colors or whatever - you go girl!

Stanley has me really worried. I've been watching this show for 10 seasons and I've never seen someone so unprepared for Fashion Week.
OTOH, Michelle could steal it all just because she is so organized.

OK, here's my runway show ... First, a kicky fun short flirty dress - in a pale pale ashwood color, with a wide black leather belt. Then a pair of slim pants in an warm oaky color, bright red top - low cut with lacey sleeves. Next is the outerwear - a dramatic swing coat in a traditional camel color/fabric, but with edgy accents of leather and metal (copper). Now a skirt and jacket, with a severe/bold high-powered exec suit style. The jacket is black leather and the skirt is a dark fabric, with a dark dark tone on tone wood grain pattern. Finally, a long gown, almost robe-monk-like in it's simple flow and front opening and with a hood in back, but off the shoulder and with lacy sleeves - done in a deep, deep rosewood color. Whew!! I got done just in time. Like Stanley.

What on earth made him think to take on all that?!

I'd love for you to extend the descriptions and give me a mental image of the model, the accessories and the whole picture you're trying to paint. Just 'cause they all sound so fabulous.

What on earth made him think to take on all that?! Nothing in his collection was finished to begin with. He had a mountain of work to do before the first judging. Then when so many of his clothes were trashed by the judges his work projects pretty much doubled. Then PR added to the whole thing by turning the poor guy loose in Mood. Michelle gets points in my book not only for her organization but for her good sportsmanship in helping him when her own work was done.
