Took the elder sister to see "The Lucky One" today. The movie isn't what you would call Oscar material, but it was entertaining. Blythe Danner was very good in it.

Congrats, Diane. So, while you are beginning retirement, I heard from a co-worker who wants me to come back temporarily to work on a project. I could set my own hours and work from home a lot and would be well paid . . . it is tempting, as she promises me no-contact with my former uber-oooky boss . . . well, we'll see. I have made no promises and we are going to meet about it. Congratulations. I guess our skills are something needed. I wasn't out the door when they were telling me about opportunities to come back. Jeez, all I want is about six months of PEACE. Then, if money is needed I'll talk. Part time. My hours. And it depends a lot on what they want me to do. No bullshit tolerated.

Just when I think I have found them all . . . I moved a screen today on a seldom used window, and found a very weather worn penny stuck between the bottom of the screen and the sill. Vince believed pennies could help keep us safe from the worst of the visions/voices he saw and heard, and planted them all over the house. When I cleaned it so thoroughly for getting ready for foster care, I kept thinking, "Well, now I've got them all." I mean, I even found the one inside the bathroom door knob assembly. So this was a nice surprise. They always feel like a hello from my baby. That's exactly what they are. I notice they always seem to turn up just when something life changing is about to happen to you. It sounds like a vote of confidence from him regardless of what your decision is.

Ooooh, possible intriguing and better-than-before maybe-work-options. Coolio, for both of you!

Well, crashed and burned again- damage to the tune of huge bruise and abrasion on a previously unscarred bit of my left arm (probably the last bit which comes under that classification), re-wrenching of the Bad Ankle, and oh, yes, by the way, did something to the rib I cracked last summer, cool.
Stupid burrowing rodents and insectivores.
Julia, late getting to chores, the sheep will hate me.
