So, I don't know if I mentioned here that I have recently joined a local gym. Until last week I stayed strictly to an aqua exercise program, I take water aerobics twice a week, an occasional Aqua Zumba class, and occasionally I will go in on weekends and water walk for an hour or so. Before anyone thinks that I'm doing super well, I average 2 - 3 hours a week at the gym. It's a respectable goal seeing as it's been over a decade since I did any kind of exercise on a regular basis. Last week I decided it was time to add a lanf based exercise class to my routine. The water work has helped to build up a little bit of endurance but it doesn't seem to be helping me much with my flexibility, so I decided to start with Pilates. Today was my second class and man, it's going to take a lot of determination to keep me going back. Last week, I couldn't do everything but I attempted most and actually managed some of the harder poses easier than the regulars. The down side was I walked away with a throbing headache that lasted two days. This week was the complete opposite and it was kinda discouraging. Even the exercises that I had no problem doing last week I had trouble with today. I think part of that was I was trying to focus on proper breathing more than I had last week so that I could prevent a headache. The way I carry my weight and the general shape of my body makes what seems like every exercise uncomfortable in a bad way, not in an uncomfortable I'm exercising kind of way. On the other hand, the amount of attention I recieve from ALL the participants, not just the instructor, has been a little disconcerting. Don't get me wrong, it's good attention, everyone keeps coming up and telling me what a good job I'm doing and to keep it up, but I've been going to the gym now since March and I've had more people talk to me and say more words to me in two classes than the water people have said to me in 6 months! Oh well, I hope all is ok atleast in s'cubie land. Hugs, vibes, rainbows, sparkles and unicorn poop to all those who want it. *hugs* to you and congratulations on your exercise resolve. I lost mine a few years ago, and haven't been able to find it again. Make sure you drink enough water (that'll help with the headache), and really add new exercises very slowly. It takes more than one or two weeks for your body to get used to the new movement. 2-3 hours a week is great! So many try to do too much all at once, and then get hurt or discouraged. //former aerobics instructor - me - who needs to get her butt off the sofa again!! Golf isn't cutting it.

Gown or cocktail dress? I vote for cocktail dress.
So, black or bold color? I vote for bold color!
Red, blue, green, orange, gold, or silver? I vote for blue - deep deep true midnight blue!
What will be the special touch(es) on the dress? Neckline, shoulders, bodice, hem, skirt, sleeves, or back? I vote for back, sleeves and neckline. But what touches do we want? Slashes or cut outs? Sheer? Sparkle? Plunge? Architectural? Wrapping/draping? Severe/tailored or volume?

Maybe I'll take a page from your book.

OK, so let's start with this: Color change? Add a pattern or design? What sort of accessories?

Broke up with my bf that night, a few of his tears fell on it and stained it - and guess what was playing on the radio as he dropped me off after the dance? Yep - Blue Velvet, by Bobby Vinton True Story

A gown for L&T. I've been there. You're afraid to breathe, the air is so rarified.

Elena needs an attitude adjustment.
Have a drink or something. Cosmo or a Killians. Listen to some funky music.

OK, so let's start with this: Color change? Add a pattern or design? What sort of accessories? That's nicer than mine. I'll delete it. EDIT: There. This is nice but it needs sleeves. Also I don't like the pink. Black is so -- not style. Can you make it gold or bronze?
