Ahhhh! There are spoilers out for Episode 2 next Season. I don't want to look (but I kinda did) ... these are more in-depth than previous spoilers. Of course, that doesn't surprise me given that filming started today so we're bound to have more and more details from now on...
Grr. Argh. Help me be strong!
Pixi may not want to read these spoilers... *looks to her in sympathy* I'm ok with them because I want to see where it goes but I don't want to read too much about each of the episodes because then I won't enjoy what's to come.
Ok, I know I'm so babbling here and no one has any idea why! *stops herself*
I read them and I'm trying to keep from throwing up at the scone scene.
I know there has to be VD because of the triangle but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
I haven't read the actual scenes yet but I've read the summaries.
Still I'm happy about Kristin's/Eonline chat - here's what she said:
Okay, I tried copying all Q&A regarding VM during Kristin's online chat. Here it is:
kellygirl asks: You said in the Message Boards it was a beLOVEd actor. Please tell me it’s not LOGAN! I'll freak.
Kristin_Veitch replies: Oh dear god no. Heard from Jason Dohring himself that he will be in every episode this season. Kristen Bell tells me, “There is going to be so much drama with Logan, you guys can't even keep track!” I’ve heard what happens in the first episode and can say, you guys are gonna FLIP.
brandnewhero asks: Do you know who’s at the door?
Kristin_Veitch replies: I do. But I pinky-swore Rob Thomas I wouldn’t tell you so please, don’t hate me! Here’s a hint, though: The time on the clock during that scene will give you a slightly-skewed hint, if you look at it the right way …
winnie6 asks: do you know who is going to be Jackie Chase on VM
Kristin_Veitch replies: Rob says they've narrowed it down to three actresses -- none of them names.
ballue asks: Veronica Mars is going to be on CBS? Jump back!
Kristin_Veitch replies: I KNOW! Honestly, you guys, this is THE TIME to get EVERYONE YOU KNOW to tune in, because CBS is airing back-to-back episodes, starting with the very first one this Friday! SO great. This Friday will be two episodes (the pilot and An Echolls Family Christmas), then single episodes the following Fridays, August 5 (Clash of the Tritons), and August 12 (Ruskie Business). “I'm hoping that us airing on CBS will make all the difference and we'll finally get the audience we need,” KB says.
davidbellum asks: What did Rob say about the new mystery on Veronica Mars?
Kristin_Veitch replies: His words: “I think the new murder mystery. Murder? Did I just say murder? The new big mystery, I think the new big mystery is fresh. It doesn't have the feel of last year's. It's not simply a friend of Veronica dies and we all--, it has a whole new feel to it that I think is going to be compelling and bigger and we were fortunate last year, the writers finished all our scripts when we still had time left in our contracts, so we actually spent the last month working on season two, so we're way ahead of the game.” Q: “*Is the mystery a murder?” R: There's death involved. There is death. Q: Somebody we already know? R: Possibly. Possibly.
veronicarlz asks: is there anything else you can tell us about VM? I neeeed more info !!!
Kristin_Veitch replies: Enrico confirmed that he’ll be running for sheriff, but doesn’t think he’ll win “because they like me poor.” Also … “ I sold a book,” he says. “I wrote the book. Big Murder, Small Town. And oh, the first episode is so wonderful. We pick up not where we left off, but a whole Summer has gone by, so we're at the beginning of the school year, and then we, we like those flashbacks a lot, so we go back and explain what happened between Logan, how Logan gets away, who's at the door--“
mandyhre asks: Did you chat up Kristen Bell at the UPN party
Kristin_Veitch replies: Yes! Sooo adorable, and I’ll tell you more about the party in this week’s column, but for now can tell you what she says about the new mystery: “It's less personal, less close to home than the mystery of Lily was. This is a more broad, helping the town kind of mystery, which is kinda cool cause Veronica gets to be a little more outgoing and extroverted than she's used to. She's fighting for everyone as opposed to just fighting for herself.”
francisco asks: CHARISMA! How was she?
Kristin_Veitch replies: STUUUUNNNNINNG. (And worth every letter of that.) Told me she’s been working out twice a day and is DYING to be Wonder Woman. “My focus right now is half-hour or Wonder Woman,”: she says. “That would be too cool for school. K: Do you feel like that's happening really soon? C: I don't know. Ask Joel [Silver], he's the producer. K: Now I see why you're doing Veronica Mars. C: Oh, no, no, no! Really, I'm friends with Rob and I love this show.
veronicarlz asks: Did you talk to the VM cast about not getting any emmy love? I am sooo disapointed
Veitch replies: I said the same thing to Kristen, and she replied: "I was so happy to even hear that, but I knew from the beginning [that I wouldn't be nominated], just because of the way the Emmy voters vote. It didn't surprise me that the TCA voters nominated me because they've always been very good, but the Emmy voters vote for well known people.
I love the fact that JD is definitely in all 22 eps and the fact that there is going to be a lot of drama with him.
So Logan is throwing a Life's Short Party? In response to V breaking up with him do you think?
I don't know - I for one am a little tired of Veronica with Logan at the beginning of the episode and breaking up with him by the end of the episode if that's what happens in Episode 1.
Or maybe Rob changed the names in the sides so that she really was with Duncan all along since he knows fans read them. And in Episode 1 she really is with Duncan instead of Logan. That would make more sense.
Then they can break this stupid triangle up by the November sweeps.
