Yes, Kendall Casablancas is Charisma's character's name. Interesting, as Kendall Hart was SMG's Emmy-winning role on AMC. Coincidence? Probably. Probably but you never know with Rob. Actually the furor is kind of amusing. A lot of people are posting that Rob has deliberately changed names in the sides to confuse fans. I don't know if I believe that or not but he did have a backup murderer in case fans figured out it was Aaron. He was planning Duncan as the murderer according to recent press. Very interesting. So I wouldn't put anything past him. He seems to be both wise, crafty, creative, sneaky and completely clued in. Along with the whole immensely talented thing.

Can you enumerate what the spoilers are? I see the references to spoilers, but not the actual spoilers. Perhaps I'm just slow today.

Well sides are up for Episode 2 at nowcasting.com (log on as Hailey, password hello) which have a scene where Duncan and Veronica are at a hotel and he is feeding her a scone while she is blindfolded. Also an 09er asking if they are going to Logan's Life's Short Party. So it would seem that Duncan and Veronica are a couple in Episode 2. Which has led many to think that the scenes of Logan and Veronica kissing in episode 1 are a flashback, they were together over the summer but broke up. I posted Kristein/Eonline's chat last night which indicates it was Logan at the door. And Zap2it has the article indicating that Rob said that if fans found out about Aaron last year he had Duncan as a backup murderer. Let me know if this helps. I read the Spoiled like Cafeteria Milk thread and the Speculation with Spoilers thread on TWOP first - which usually leads to links. The Veronica Mars in the Media thread has links to all the recent press articles from the UPN press thing.

Scones and blindfolds sounds more Logan-y to me. Actually, I like scones, any way they are served.

Wanda says to look at the clock: 3:07 Turn that around and upside and look at what you see... That's what she claims is a hint. I'm not sure if I believe that but I guess it could explain why we see that time on the clock.

Hey Pixi... do any of those sites you mentioned have the description for the SotW for Episode 2? About the bus?
Just curious... I haven't actually read the sides for Episode 2, just got the low down from one of the people on my LJ list but she friend locks her VM spoilers (for multiple reasons) so I can't have you go look. I can post a short summary of it here but, if one of the spoiler sites has it, I'd prefer not to... I tried to just skim it because, again, I don't want to know much about the actual storylines/plots so I don't start building up the storyline in my head.

I read the summary of the storyline - is that what you mean? I can post that if you want. I didn't actually read the sides either. Just the summaries.

SotW = Story of the Week Yeah, the summary of what she's involved in solving I guess is what I meant. But, you don't have to post if the sites you gave have it. People can go find it... I was just curious if they did or not.

I certainly don't mind posting it. I'm doing a med recs organizing/outline from hell at the moment and anything to keep me from actually doing it works for me.
It looks like episode 2 is called "Driver's Ed". They are casting: Carla, Duane, Jeff, Jesse, and Sally.
In one of the sides, Veronica is interviewing two people (Jeff and Carla) about (I think) a man who drove a car off the PCH. In another one, Veronica encourages her dad to run for office because he will be a shoo in and Keith says he doesn't want them bringing up his history.
Jesse (a girl) is the one whose dad dies in the accident and she asks Veronica to help prove that her dad didn't commit sucide so her family gets insurance money.

The spoilers I read had it being a bus, not car, and there were kids in the bus which is what was making hard for Veronica to decide getting involved.

"Former Laker Girl"? Wasn't Charisma Carpenter a former Laker girl? Who wants to lay bets that she'll be the one cast? Not that it matters a bunch, but just to clarify the record: CC was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers. On a happier note, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to see they have so much planned for Wallace this year.

I knew that would make you happy.

I just pulled these off of TWOP. I'll do some more checking around - this person might have it wrong. But usually if you post anything incorrectly on that board - you are pounced on and corrected mercilessly within minutes. I just lurk.

Rae - here's the bus post. It's from Neptunesite - which is usually right.
A bus full of kids have gone over the side of a cliff. The police say the driver committed suicide (taking the kids with him?)
So -I honestly don't know which is right. I'll go read the sides when I get a chance.

You think this is foreshadowing? Someone is telling Veronica about having regrets about not being with the man she loved before he died. The next scene has Veronica going to see Duncan in his hotel room.
