Started this because it's just too good:
From askausiello:
Christopher Eccleston — the original Dr. Who from the current Sci Fi/BBC series — is joining the cast in January in a really super (tee-hee) role.

More, from askausiello.com
Question: I almost screamed when I read in last week's AA that Christopher Eccleston is going to be on Heroes in January. Is he going to be a regular on the show or just making a guest appearance?— Sara Anne Ausiello: He's a full-fledged series regular. And get this: I hear producers originally wanted him for another extremely pivotal role, but at the time, Eccleston was either uninterested or unavailable.

And now word on who Eccleston will be playing, from TV Guide: Claude, an invisible man played by British actor Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), appears January 22. "He's been living with his invisibility for many years and has come to grips with it, so he'll give us a different view into this hero world," [Heroes creator Tim] Kring explains. "He's big, imposing and charismatic, and will become a mentor to Peter - albeit a tough, reluctant and stern one. He'll help Peter learn to use and control his powers."And you have to love the producers' sense of humor in naming an invisible man after Claude Rains, who so memorably played the lead role in the classic film version of H. G. Wells's The Invisible Man.

So if he's invisible, how will we be able to see that Eccleston goodness?

Last night on E! News Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) was asked about one of the Heroes dying.
He commented: "Yes, someone definitely dies. something, something ... issues with contract re-negotiation....wanted more money and so they were killed off. Now we're all, like, dropping $20 bills in the producer's tip jar so they won't kill us off.
I have no clue if he was actually serious or accurate.
For myself this screams Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) since I really can't see how the actors playing Eden or Sylar could demand more money. But I hope not since this would have a serious impact on the show.
That last bit is not a spoiler, just speculation on my part.

Hey guys. Approximately 4 minutes long, this is a preview of the upcoming episode of Heroes. Worth it if for no other reason than Hiro saying, "Flying Man" with accompanying zoom hand motion to Nathan; when Nathan tells him to keep it down, Hiro says "whoosh" in a lower voice with a lowered hand gesture.
