Up up and away. "Not the person I see in the mirror." Nicely put. Hee. I like seeing cop guy use his powers to save his marriage. And for the sex, of course. But I wanna say to him "don't push it - don't be too obviously in her mind". 'Cuz that'll just creep her out. "I put more stock in her humanity than yours." And he doesn't kill the quarterback, although he wants to. He just wipes his memory. Totally. Hmmmmm. And they did let the cop go. So, scary!daddy is maybe not totally evil. Maybe. "We are all connected." Yup!! Moral dilemna (do I buy him drugs if that's the only way to get the info we need to save the world) solved by his power of picking up others' powers. Huh. Which means the painter guy has the power anyway to be picked up, even when not high. So part of saving him must mean showing him how to connect and control it without the drugs. Cheerleader gets her hero moment too. "What I did was wrong too." Wait a minute. Was that a picture of Forrest from BtVS? As Niki's ex? So politician Peter is a dirty politician. And cop guy saves the day but is going all Earshot on us. Brainshare! Brainshare with Lola! Heeee! #rofl1# And my mind's not creepy at all, is it? Tell 'em, tell 'em! Tell 'em how scary it's not! #smirk#

(Peter is the sweet brother -with the hair that falls in his eyes like Superman's curl.) He is a very dirty politician. That's why they want him to win, I suppose. That was too scary when Weiss was losing it at the drugstore. Yeah - Nathan! (Not that I'll remember this for longer than 2 minutes - I tell ya, I'm still really lost on names. ;D ) Very scary. I wonder if the mind guy who wiped his memory could actually be helpful in showing him how to block some of it out.

I think Daddy Dearest is going to disappear Quarterback Rapist boy. As well he should. I'm convinced that Daddy thinks he's one of the good guys. He does not so nice things to be one of the good guys, but that's a pretty common aspect of folks who think they're protecting the world from the forces of evil. What with all the powers our "good guys" are accumulating, there's gonna need to be some serious bad guy powers out there, too. Of course, we already have evidence for that. I really liked the, "What she's going through is very confusing." He knows, and he doesn't seem to want to hurt her. He wants maybe to make her a tool, though - like Mindwipe Man.

That was cool. ;D
Although I had to fight really hard not to be all "been there, done that" for the Earshot bits.
My favorite part was Peter being the one to connect the Japanese guy on the phone with the Japanese guy on the train....

Oh, cool beans! Ouch, that's got to sting! Shoes would help. Yeah, I thought that was a very nice touch. ;D Super cool at flying but he doesn't really quite have the landing part down yet. Sorta the flying-human equivalent of a goonie bird. ;D Landing on caliche, barefoot, at that speed? owieee!!!

He probably tells himself that he's recruiting his little girl for The Cause, whatever that is. He's a lot like Mayor Wilkins - he thinks he's doing the right thing, and that the end justifies the means, no matter what the "means" are. I wonder if Claire is going to accidentally undo her dad's mindwipe of quarterback-rapist-boy? This will probably make no sense at all when I wake up...

Whoo boy! That's some Superman flying!. Boy Howdy! Loved the flying. One of my favorite moments of the episode. I loved the takeoff, the landing, Hiro's awestruck gazing at him. If it wasn't for the where did Hiro learn to speak English moment in the diner, that would have been perfect. Are we all fanwanking some sort of energy field that keeps his clothing intact while he is breaking the sound barrier?
